Two Rivers Cafe

Traveling through and stopped to eat. What a find!! The food was great, best chicken sandwich I have had in ages!!! So much flavor! The views out the back overlook the river, absolutely beautiful.

A+. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with jalapeño mayo. The chicken breast was is thin, but they give you more than one. I highly recommend it. We ate outside over Memorial Day weekend and our order came out a lot quicker than we expected. The French Fries have a light golden crust in them which makes for a nice crispy/light crunch. Free refills on the sodas. Great service too.

Great burgers, really filling. I keep telling myself I will try one of their pizzas (they look great) but always wind up getting the burger. Great atmosphere if you sit out back along the river. It's a funky place but unique and fun. We will go there just for lunch from Grass Valley. It's open all year too.

Tasty and convenient. Great service. Enjoyed anti pasta salad and BBQ chicken special pizza. Ate outside on patio deck with the river flowing nearby.

These guys went above and beyond for me. The food and beer was amazing after a solid MTB ride, but I left my wallet there. I didn't realize until I was several hours away. They were kind enough to keep my wallet safe and mail it to me the next available day. I will stop there every time I'm in town. It's very refreshing to meet kind honest people.

First stop in Downieville every time. They have an excellent menu, pizzas usually the best, great staff, always the best views and fresh cold drinks. also be sure to stop and get something togo for the long drive home.

Really good pizza, service was amazing, what else can you ask for? My favorites were the garlic chicken pizza and their combo, need more excuses to go back and try more on the menu.

Great pizza place in Downieville. Not much to choose from in this town, but this place has burgers and pizza. They also have a retro video game system in the back and different beers to choose from.

OMG if you ever drive through our little big town of downieville you have got to stop and try their food! This place knows how to ruin anyone's appetite cuz guaranteed you come hungry and you'll be glad you did cuz they have great food. 100#

We always get pizza here because it's great. One of these days I'll have to try a burger. They look really good. The staff are friend;y and the view is beautiful.

First off, the staff was AMAZING, so friendly and ontop of everything, wanted to make sure we had everytuing we needed.The chicken wings are amazing, no breading, so yummy, and crispy. The onion rings were just as good, huge portion, sooooo yummy. Burger was fantastic with great fries. Highly recomend this place to eat. We will be back for sure

So good! I had the grilled chicken sandwich, best chicken sandwich I've ever had. So fresh and tasty! My hubby had the cheeseburger, he enjoyed every bite! And the fries were a great side, and a pickle spear to round it off. The staff was very friendly and efficient, place has charm. I would definitely recommend!

This is the best place for a bite right on the river. They got beer, pizza and burgers. They even have salad and veggie burgers. Very nice owners.

Very friendly staff. Food was fresh and tasty! Followed Covid health guidance and everyone was wearing a mask. Had mask available for people who didn’t have one.

Our party got "lost" coming out of Grass Valley and wound up in Downieville. Having driven throigh the mountains, Downieville was the first real town we had come across, that felt welcoming enough for all of us to stop in and pile out and grab a bite to eat, stretch out legs and gather our bearings.

We wound up pulling over into the parking lot at Two Rivers Cafe and grabbed some pizza, wings and fries. All of the food was fresh and amazing. We opted to eat outside nearby at some picnic tables near the river, and wound up deciding on staying in town for the evening - based on the serenity of the town, the friendliness of the townsfolk and the beauty and peacefulness of the river.

Two Rivers Cafe is only one of a handful of eateries in Downieville, but the food we had was very good and we would definitely eat there again, no questions asked.

GREAT FOOD, Great beer, and great service. Won't be disappointed if you stop in here!

Stopped in Downieville for a burger and this place did not disapoint. The food was great. My wife had a calzone and I had a hamburger, fries and a beer. The staff was friendly and efficient. Eat here if you find yourself in Downieville.
