North New York

We went to Shequaga Falls and there was a sign pointing down the street a short walk away for a coffee shop. We decided to walk over from the falls. Our group decided to try iced lattes, tea, and hot chocolate. Everything tasted great! They have a very nice sitting area inside with a fireplace and a few seats outside as well.

I was traveling through the area and stopped in at North New York. This is such a nice coffee shop. The staff working was super friendly. I ordered an Americano, which was made to perfection. I also ate a bagel with cream cheese - so good!! There is seating outside and in the coffee shop. When I was there, they had local produce, cheese, and other products for sale. I highly recommend North New York!

What a great experience. First I had a toasted sesame bagel with organic butter. I must say that I’m a bit of a bagel snob and I’m quite picky about what makes a good bagel. Well, I must say, this one was great and I paired it with a really good cup of coffee with their own blended half & half. Everything was great and I only wish I lived closer so that I could frequent this shop.

Second, they are a dog friendly establishment and they were very welcoming to my little pooch. I travel with my dog and it’s always a pleasure to come across places that are dog friendly.

Last and far from least was the friendliness of the owners. I believe it was father and daughter but I’m not sure and I wish I’d have asked. They were so very kind and truly listened to my story and did so with a keen interest making me feel very appreciated and welcomed.

If you are looking for a great place to grab your morning brew and a breakfast treat, this is the place to stop. You will not be disappointed. I’ll certainly stop here again when my travels bring me anywhere close to their coffee shop.

Had two fresh scones, a Parmesan and leek and a bacon cheddar, and a ny bagel. Cappuccino and a cold brew. The scones were the best I have had!

Edit: the Kombucha was delightful. Immensely complex flavor, yet incredibly smooth. Like drinking from a burbling Appalachian brook on a hot day.

Always comforting, always refreshing and always friendly and warm. This cozy coffee shop even serves carefully made - not made with "coffee water." A small but great selection of teas and fun renditions like Chai chargers (with espresso shot) and London fogs. Interesting books float about to peruse and THE BEST BREAD gets delivered every Friday. It's fresh and locally made and local veggies from a local farm are often available, along with local meats and other products.

I decided to check out North New York based on their good google reviews. The scone and cold brew were delicious. Service was excellent. It is a nice, local coffee shop.

Wow! I cannot recommend NNY more! It's just a block from the falls and has such a refreshing atmosphere. I LOVED the scones. Even at the end of the day, it was still flakey and delightful. Very no-nonsense while being locally sourced.

The atmosphere is just magnificent. I asked the barista for a recommendation and I absolutely loved their matcha honey latte. Not too sweet, not too heavy. If only I lived closer, you wouldn’t be able to get me out of the shop.

We shared the most wonderful bacon, cheddar and chives scone. A ‘morning brew’ cup of Joe and a creamy Cafe Mocha. And picked up 2 bags of local farmer ground half white bread flour.

Stopped here while visiting Finger Lakes. Some comfy chairs in the back room and nice coffeehouse music 🎶 playing.

Would return in a heartbeat. 👍👍

The most importantly - we came at the closing time, and we were still served 15 min after closing time. The person couldn't say no to the line and kept working:)

What a cute little local cafe with a warm welcoming atmosphere. It was nice to see decent hours, open 730-3 most days. It will be a great stop if your traveling through Montour Falls! They were very knowledgeable about the coffee sold, as I was very indecisive haha. I ended up choosing the cold brew which was DELICIOUS! Oh, and their ice is perfect, not huge cubes!

Great people, can’t wait to go back!

We had two extremely fresh baked scones that were absolutely delicious and probably the best I’ve ever had! Coffee was smooth and really good as well. High recommend this coffee shop and would absolutely come back next time we are in town!

Absolutely amazing little coffee shop in Montour Falls. If you are staying in Watkins Glen area you should most definitely check it out! The owner and his daughter are the kindest people and here for the community.

Love this place!! The iced mocha was so good, also really appreciated the crushed ice which distributes more evenly and keeps it colder longer. Also amazing people and atmosphere, I'll definitely be back!

This might be the best scone I’ve ever had. Impeccable vibes, gorgeous design, quiet. Local products and delicious iced drink, sweet employees. Don’t skip this place - I’ll be back!

Terrific little coffee shop!
I had a mocha (with Ghirardelli Choc) and my husband got a cappuccino with maple spice so so good! Oh can't forget the strawberry danish, perfect dessert after a morning of hiking!
