Makwa Coffee

Stopped in for a meet up with the some friends on a Sunday afternoon. This is a cute little coffee shop set in a strip mall. There is all kinds of seating available and a lot of plug ins in case you came here to work. The baristas were super kind and helpful. I had an Iced Chia Tea that was amazing. My friends had some other specialty coffee drinks and said they were very delicious. Definitely swing in here for a cup of Joe if you are in the area!

Really good coffee and very unique options. Love the atmosphere. People are super friendly.
It was busy and we got the last table. Pretty good for a Wednesday morning.

I came while Trickster Tacos was doing
pop up food kitchen. I got a chia latte and Jerk chicken taco. Both amazing!! And wonderful staff! Will definitely come again.

Makwa is such a gem! Their specials are so unique and the baristas really do care about the quality of the drinks they are preparing. I had the ube latte and it was one of the best coffee drinks I have ever had. The atmosphere was friendly and vibrant even when we got there early in the morning. This is the perfect place to meet friends, grab a pick-me-up, or just chill with a book. I can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back!

Went on a Friday morning, and it was quite busy. I had to wait for some seats to open up. I mainly came for the ube coffee (Gimmewan), and it was delish and delightful! Will definitely come back to try some other coffee there.

I got the blueberry muffin latte and drank the whole thing. Usually I’m a sipper and it takes a few hours to finish a coffee but that thing was gone before we left the shop. Great atmosphere and service with even better coffee! Can’t wait to come again!

The service has always been great which is nice since they are often busy. I’ve had the Aurora & Chill- yummy! Ziigwan is delicious! Iced mocha is the best in town! However, my favorite is the Dark Cloud with oat milk and a hint of lavender… it’s like a warm hug!! They made this coffee lover a tea lover!!

The atmosphere is cozy inside, but you can also enjoy some fresh air outside. They have games and books for the family. It’s very inviting!

Great local coffee shop! Their cold brew is strong, and the fall seasonal drinks (Honey Bear and Basic Bee) are perfect when I want something sweeter and less caffeinated. I like that they have outside seating and that they have treats made by local bakers.
It's a comfortable space whether you are working, reading a book, or catching up with a friend. Internet connection was good even when a handful of other people were also on their computers. Very cool that they organize and host events that foster a sense of community— craft nights, game nights, book clubs, pop up markets, soccer match watch parties, etc.

Great drinks. Fun signature drinks with flavors I haven’t tried before! Atmosphere is cozy.

Great vibes here! The fry bread was delicious. The space is beautiful and cozy. The cortado was top notch — I didn’t really like my chai latte but that won’t stop me from coming back again soon and ordering one of their more creative and unique drinks!

Absolutely adored this place! The coffee is DELICIOUS. I had a mint mocha in their reusable mugs and it was quite tasty. I'm used to the super sugary drinks from corporate coffee companies so I did ask if I could have more pumps of mint in my coffee than normal and the lady behind the counter was very nice about it. I definitely would recommend this place to a friend :D

Great vibes and very courteous staff, with good tasting coffee to boot. And they already serve pumpkin drinks!! And there was a cute vendor selling pins and magnets there too. What’s not to like!

Comfortable coffee shop - nicer vibe than I expected in a strip mall. My cappuccino was delicious. Apparently they rotate through various coffee suppliers, which I think is a weird choice, but they sure had good coffee when I was there.

This is a very beautiful coffee shop, not overstuffed like many local coffee shops. They have books and games, books for kids, board books for toddlers and I even saw at least one braille kids book.

The coffee was delicious. My wife had a “Zigwan sugar maple” which is a cold brew oatmilk coffee beverage. The sweetness of the maple and caramel deliciously complemented the oat milk and the coffee. Highly recommended.

I had an oatmilk latte which was delicious and well crafted.

First time stopping by and loved the atmosphere and selection of drinks. Due to the influx of people there was no room for me to sit but I plan to return to hang out. The banana loaf was delicious and I really enjoyed the Ziigwan Sugar Maple coldbrew.

Are you kidding. This was a most culturally, authentic and delicious experience. Please order the Honeybear drink.

Super cute and helpful staff. Got a lavender cold brew off of an employee recommendation. Will be back for sure. Good amount of seating and plenty of parking.

This is a gem of a coffee shop. They are a proud Native American owned shop and sometimes serve traditional food specials in addition to their normal great coffee. Service is always friendly and helpful.
