Common Place Cafe

We went here for breakfast the other day and had a wonderful food experience. The food was great and service was friendly. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Had been here a couple of times and was pleased. The last 2 times was a disappointment in both food and service. Was asked if wanted more coffee then was forgotten about. Food not done right, they did ask if I wanted it redone I said no as I hate to sit there with my guest and watch them eat and when they are done wind up eating alone. They didn’t charge me for the meal this time.

Absolutely delicious little spot for breakfast! Staff are always incredibly friendly, food is always fast, fresh and delicious! Great value and will certainly continue to enjoy the food here!

Great value, excellent and personable service. Menu had great breakfast choices.

Quality of food was top notch. The Belgian waffle was large and tasty. The 2x2 breakfast with eggs and sausage is also a great pick. Nice if they offered maple syrup. Butter was room temperature, not cold and hard like other restaurant reviews.

Would definately come again. Not a super large seating area, but it doesn't need to be. They had a special posted for all you can eat french toast for $9.99, wow!

Best skillets and pancakes in town ! Super friendly staff It’s also nice you can do a little thrift store shopping after ur done breakfast or lunch !

Second time visiting here. Tracy was our waitress and she is a real sweetheart. She is very enthusiastic and welcoming!

Both visits we have tried the baking. Yesterday it was Apple Pie ala mode and coffee. Definitely home made. No canned pie filling - thankfully. The coffee for a cafe was also very good.

Pie and ice cream was $7.00. Most menu entrees average around $14.00.

On both visits the waitresses highly recommend the baked items and told us how the manager is behind the scenes making everything from scratch. You can definitely tell the staff have a lot of pride.

One of the best brunch places in Abbotsford! The servers are great and the food is amazing!
My favourite dish is the pacific skillet with extra hollandaise sauce. And you have to end the meal with a piece of fruit platz.

This was my first visit to Common Place Cafe. We were very glad that we came here. The skillets and omelettes are flawless. The servers were very friendly and helpful. It was truly nice to see people who enjoyed their jobs.

Most likely one of the best places you'll go for breakfast in Abbotsford! You can taste the fresh ingredients used and it was cooked & presented perfectly! Service was top notch too!

Came in with our 4 year old birthday girl. They had the whole staff and entire restaurant sing happy birthday to her and treated her to a dessert! Awesome food and awesome staff! And great prices!

Food here is terrific and the service friendly and helpful. We have only had breakfast here and it is always exceptional. Prices are right, service great, we also hear the perogies here are amazing. Well worth the time spent.

What a wonderful little cafe. The customer service was stellar, the food was well presented and it arrived piping hot and tasty. A hidden little gem attached to the MCC thrift store. We couldn't have asked for better service and it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

Love coming in for the early bird special. Often chef opens up restaurant even if no one else there. You can tell the pride they take in producing everything from scratch.

Thankful for the Common Place Café as it has been a peaceful yet still humming with activity type of Cafe.
