Excellent gear at excellent prices, with excellent service to round it out! Came home today with my favorite guitar I’ve ever played, for significantly less than I would have paid for it at Guitar Center! Don’t waste a trip to Louisville, save time and money with a small local business that truly cares about music and its customers!

Jim was great! He's very professional and really cares about getting the job done to satisfy his customers. I have a Floyd Rose guitar that needed restrung and there was some miscommunication on my part about what tuning I was wanting it in, which resulted in him needing more time to work on the guitar or to get a whole new setup done! Luckily, Jim said he'll hold onto the guitar another day to see if he could get it figured out and he did just that! Excellent work, extremely professional.

Such a cool and unique little spot! They’ve got everything you need for guitar and ukulele players, even if you’re just getting started and need lessons— they’ve got that covered! They also show and sell artwork from multiple different local artists. And everything’s reasonably priced! The owners are very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Absolutely worth a stop.

Hands down best music store around! Jim & Lisa are 2 of the best people you will meet. If you're into music and art you should really check them out. They sell, buy, and trade all sorts of musical equipment and art. They even give lessons if you're wanting to learn guitar. Great place, great people, cannot recommend them enough.

The owners are polite and patient. Nice atmosphere. Very helpful. I've seen beginners and seasoned players alike walk in, all get treated very well. And they have lots of merchandise ! A wide variety. Highly recommend stopping in. And, go back often, as merchandisechanges.

They REALLY care and give you the best deals. My grandaughter LOVES her lessons, and has learned so much. She has grown in confidence too.. LOVE the array of Artwork and Guitar decor on their walls.

Cool little shop with some guitars and nice artwork from local artists, definitely worth a visit.

I personally love this place. It's a super nice place to go if you just need strings are looking at getting a new(used) instrument or getting rid of one you already have. Jim focuses super heavily on fairness over everything else and I respect that a lot. All in all no one can compete with Max Music and Arts prices or service. Also they sell original artworks too if that's your forte.

My daughter has recently gotten into playing the guitar. This place is so welcoming and knowledgeable. They have always helped my daughter with her equipment and so supporting of her dream. This place is truly a blessing to Washington County Indiana.

Very nice store. Everyone there is super nice and knowledgeable on music. My son started taking guitar lessons here and he loves going every week. I highly recommend everyone stopping in and checking them out.
