Back Street Cafe

We were full and very happy. I'm sure Loris is very proud to have the Back Street Cafe in their town. The food and service were spectacular. The prices are extremely reasonable. I did have the fried pork chop and it was delicious. The portion sizes are enormous. I will defiantly be saving room for dessert the next time I dine at Back Street Cafe.

The food is always good, the staff is always nice, and if you haven't tried the chicken bog you really should. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. A quiet little restaurant that my wife and I enjoy going to. We are quite happy we found Back Street Cafe. The soups are epic too.. So if you find yourself in Loris stop in, you'll be glad that you did. Be sure to try the wings.

Great spot with great food! Service is friendly and the food is awesome! Fried cheese sticks came out nice and hot and my lemon pepper wing basket really hit the spot. The wings are fried crispy which is my favorite. Wife had a loaded baked potato with grilled chicken and loved it, too.

My wife and I come here quite often. They have great food and friendly service. I would recommend the quesadilla, chicken wings and pork chops. This place is budget friendly and perfect for date night. ☺

Wanted something different in a different place so went to Lori's and found this little restraunt. Have to say service was great. Restraunt had a family feel to it. Was not that busy. It is kinda small but seating was comfortable. Had kids menu also. Would recommend this place as a get a way from all the hussel other restaurants have. Will be going back here to eat again.

We picked our dinner up to go. Place was packed so we knew it had to be good and it was !!! Wife had the Crabcake platter and I had the Palmetto chicken. Not very far from our home in Galivants Ferry so we will be back to try other dishes 😊👍

I came here with my grandmother to grab a bite to eat and the food here is superb! Excellent quality. I mean, they even cut and fried the potatoes fresh for chips (no lays out of a bag). I ordered the grilled flounder/shrimp with vegetables and a baked potato. The vegetables were fresh, not canned or frozen. Everything was perfectly seasoned and not too salty. The fish was exceptionally fresh. It’s good to know that restaurant owners still care about the quality and taste of the dishes they serve.

Food is always good but lately there's been a lot of dogs there. Don't get me wrong I like them just not where iam eating

So glad that the place we normally go to was closed, because it caused us to venture out and find this jewel!! I started with the shrimp bisque and I must say it was the absolute best I've ever had!!! My husband had the beef quesadilla as a starter and he was well pleased. For lunch I had the bam bam shrimp which came with Cole slaw and I added the sweet potato fries! I cleaned the plate! The sweet potato fries came sprinkled with sugar and just so delicious and the shrimp were cooked to perfection! The vile slaw was just the way I like it! My husband had the Philly chicken with onion rings and he ate until he was stuffed and still had to take some home! I can safely say we will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a great place to eat! I have been twice and both times the meals we're very good. Yesterday, I had the flounder and shrimp meal. As a lifetime South Carolina coastal gal, I can say it was a wonderful meal, and I will definitely be going back. A side note: I missed a sign going in that stated the restaurant is temporarily only available for takeout. I asked to be seated, and not one person mentioned my oversight. They were courteous and very nice. Only as I existed did I see the sign plainly posted. This won my respect and patronage, since the staff and owner were courteous and obliging regardless of my obvious mistake. Thank you!

A popular place in a small town, the waiter was a sweetheart and the food was awesome!

My husband and I frequent this place often. We have tried many different plates and have been well pleased with all. My favorites are: Chicken Salad sandwich (BEST CK SALAD!), Shrimp Basket w/Sweet Potato Fries (BEST SP FRIES ANYWHERE!) My husband's favorite is the fish and shrimp plate with sp fries. Everything is always so good. Very friendly place to be on a week night or weekend.

This is by far one of the best eating spots in Loris, SC. I will definitely be back for another dinner service, the customer service is absolutely wonder, and the food is 5x better, and it’s not bad the price definitely a night out or going on a date type of restaurant, unfortunately I have no pictures that’s how good the food was but I can reassure you I will take some the next time I come back

Went here for the first time for lunch had the fish and shrimp. Was great. Will be going back. Small dining room but great atmosphere. 👍

When you walk in you feel the history in the restaurant. You can see the hometown price in the photos and memorabilia on the walls. Then you take a seat and you are greeted by some of the best staff. They were all informative and kind. My daughter and I went on a whim to try Backstreet Cafe and we were not disappointed. The food was served quick and hot and was very delicious! Even the mozzarella cheese sticks were some of the best we had ever had. Over all my thoughts are: Great atmosphere, great staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back!

My Papa and I stopped here for lunch. I cannot believe we have drove by here so many times without stopping. The food is absolutely amazing. We both had the fried shrimp and flounder basket. It was very fresh and hot. The homemade chips were fried crisp and seasoned perfectly. The grilled vegetables were the best I have ever had. The outside wasn't fancy, but the food was a lot better than some of the most expensive places at the beach. The waitress was really nice and attentive as well. A true gem!

So nice, everyone's friendly as they can be. You feel comfortable and relaxed while your there.
The food is so amazing. The steaks are tender and the taste is remarkable.
I am in love with their shrimp and grits bowel.
