Moulin Blanc Cafe

Stumbled in while riding my bike on the legacy trail. Ordered quiche Lorraine at the recommendation of the manager. Quiche was creamy cheesy and light. Top was brown and crunchy. Quite delicious and unlike any quiche I have had. Came with a salad (lettuce and a slice of tomato) and surprisingly good blue cheese dressing. Latte was outstanding. About $20 before tip. Would come back.

Incredibly delicious veggie quiche and superb cappuccino. So many groans of utter delight that I was happy no one was sitting directly beside me…. I felt like Meg Ryan in ‘Harry Met Sally’, lol!!!!!
Run to this airy, spotless, friendly, welcoming, delicious hideaway in Bird Bay Plaza, Venice.
I cannot wait to return to try more of the menu & beverages, thank you MB!

I've been waiting for this place to open & just happened to finally notice an OPEN sign. A bright, airy place. Friendly staff. They have fridges on 2 walls that are yet to be filled so I look forward to seeing what they will be selling in those fridges.

I am an "all passionfruit" girl & they have not just one but TWO items on the menu with passionfruit in them! I tried the Passionfruit Mango Eclair & it was amazing! Next trip in I will be tasting their Passionfruit drink - French Kiss.

So glad we have another nice bakery close to where I live.

Excellent croissant and cafe au lait. Went 2 times in two consecutive days. Brought a pastry home (Danish, cherry/cream cheese), my wife loved it. Very comfortable ambiance. I liked also the french music and decoration motifs. Service was excellent too. I am happy also I do not need to drive all the way to dowtown Venice for a French croissant

Oui, Oui! That's the extent of my French, but Yes, Yes, it is definitely a place to come and partake in the French menu of delights and ambiance. The staff, a welcome relief, having a genuine concern for making our visit to Moulin Blanc Cafe, a quaint French oasis in Venice.

What a gem! We have visited a number of times in the last month. Sometimes eating in and sometimes picking up pastries for the family. Everything is always amazing. All French products some made in house while others and imported directly from France! Beautiful and comfortable when eating in and service is wonderful! You're missing out if you don't go!

Great experience, the French worker greeted us happily and they were very open to whatever order you have ready for coffee. Got creative and mixed two good flavors for a ratatouille type experience. The cherry cream cheese Danish was also unreal. Would recommend for a quick stop or a long stay to study.

We stopped in for coffee and some pastries and had an amazing experience!! The staff could not have been any friendlier and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. Also the place is adorable and the pastries were some of the best we’ve ever had!!! Highly recommend.

Usually bakeries don’t have the best coffee but this has amazing treats and espresso!! The ladies were very welcoming and super nice.

Remarkable french coffee and bakery! I try a quiche and it is probably the best I ever had, it was just incredible. The pastries are to die for, the eclairs and avalanche chocolate are very tasty, the almond croissant is top notch. I will definately make excuses in the future to drive to that place again.
Service was also amazing as you can tell they were particularly happy to come to work with always a big smile on their faces.

PS: I love the authentic french music.

Went this morning for the first time. Met Charles co-owner and Sam, server. Their friendliness and smiles got our experience off to a perfect start. I had the Quiche Lorraine and my husband had the ham and cheese croissant. Can you say YUMMY. Best Quiche I ever had. Already have plans to go back next week with some friends for lunch. Highly recommend you stop by.

I agree with everyone’s 5 stars. Absolutely THE BEST quiche ever. Welcoming, friendly service with a smile and when my quiche cooled down from talking with my wife too much, he was happy to warm it right back up for me. Thanks so much! Took home some pastries for breakfast and they were awesome too!

I would first like to say that I never take the time to review, but this warranted a review. My parents who are elderly, wanted to visit the café because they have been hearing such great things about it from the community. They were expecting it to be good but certainly weren’t expecting the extra special customer service they received. They were greeted by a sweet lady who saw their struggle in moving and so Kindly went to their help. She went over the menu items with them and offered to bring everything out to them , she went the extra mile to help my elderly parents who struggle to get around and for that alone we will forever be customers. This type of customer service and kindness is rare thee days and we call it when we see it. Thank you lovely young lady for making my parent’s experience the best experience.

So excited to have this beautiful restaurant in Venice. Great vibes as soon as you walk in. Owner and staff were very welcoming and so friendly. We tried the quiche which literally was the best I've ever eaten. So creamy, so decedent. 😋 I went with the Lorraine quiche and it was everything I could ever hope for, the side salad was also top notch..fresh and the perfect size! My sister had the feta and sundried tomatoes quiche and she loved it as well. We both got Americano's...yumm! Full bodied and delicious. Can't wait to try more of their offerings. You will not be disappointed!

Delightful experience all around. The gentleman at the counter was so kind, and clearly passionate about the beautiful assortment of French pastries. The sundried tomato quiche was arguably the best I have had, and the eclair and raspberry chocolate bombe were perfect. Very impressive.

This place is great! The coffee is excellent. The service is friendly and welcoming. The pastries and the quiche are divine! And the atmosphere is really calm and open! Bring someone you love!

My wife and I had Quiche Lorraine. It was beyond delicious. It’s light, very creamy, and excites your palate with different textures.

I’m afraid we’re going to wear out our welcome cuz it’s so good we’ll be back quite often.

Great new French bakery and Café in Bird Bay Plaza. Staff was very friendly and enjoyable to chat with. Pastries were out of this world! Looking forward to coming back to try a quiche and more pastries. Highly recommended!

Fabulous find! We lucked into finding this place on their third day in business! Best quiche ever, and I’ve been in the restaurant business over forty years! The breads and pastries looked amazing, can’t wait to go back and try them, I live in Sarasota and wish I lived in Venice so I could come here more frequently!
