Nails On 5th

Lilly is amazing!! I went here to get my nails done for my engagement, and they were perfect. It was 3 weeks after she did them when he popped the question and they still looked amazing. She really took her time, was transparent about pricing, and talked to me the whole time. Can’t say enough good things. Will definitely be coming back here any time I want to get my nails done!!

I was traveling for work and needed my acrylic nails refilled. I was in Iowa city and googled nail salons. “Nails on 5th” had the best reviews so that is where I went . It was FABULOUS!! The owner was super friendly, sweet , polite, professional! The salon had amazing widows/view/atmosphere! And my nails looked PHENOMENAL!!! She is reasonable priced and spent QUALITY TIME on my nails. I will DEFINITELY GO BACK!!! (The two customers I spoke with while in salon had been going to this place for 12-15 years….and they raved about her also !! ) you will not be disappointed!

Lily is wonderful. My nails last for over two weeks and I am a bartender and outdoorsy person so I am very hard on my hands. She is always happy to listen to what I want and makes sure that I like how they look before I leave.

I’ve never been able to post this picture like this about my nails before, but these are my nails at almost a month later. They are still beautiful.

Nails On 5th is the best nail salon in the corridor!!! Lily and Anna are so welcoming, friendly, professional and treat you like family! Other salons down the street from Nails On 5th aren’t worth your time or money.

Lilly and Ana are the Best!! They are sweet and do lovely work. They are affordable. Pedicures are so relaxing 🙂. Happy feet!

Love the service here! Lilly does a wonderful job with gel nails. Listens to what I like and remembers at my next visit. Very friendly and professional. Finally found a great nail salon.

Not only was this the best pedicure I've ever had, but my manicure was wonderful too! Everyone is so sweet, attentive, and helpful! My fingers and toes looked wonderful and they lasted so long! I'll be back as a regular from now on!

This is a smaller nail salon with the best quality in the area. We did make appointments for the evening, but there was no wait. The salon is beautiful and filled with plants and positivity. It was also incredibly clean and our nails looked great. Lily can do designs and has suggestions if you need any ideas on colors. She’s been doing this for 18 years and her experience shows.

This is my new favorite nail salon! I went for an acrylic refill and the lady did an excellent job. Way better than previous nail salons I’ve been to in town. She was very professional, kind, and didn’t try to manipulate me into purchasing a more expensive manicure, like every other place I’ve been to. I’ll definitely be coming back here!

I had a great experience here! I got a gel manicure and pedicure for a reasonable price. The polish was very clean and the service was great. This was the fastest I've ever gotten a manicure/pedicure combo without losing out on quality. I highly recommend checking out Nails on 5th. The only downside is that they seem a bit understaffed and had to work on two clients at once, however, this didn't affect the quality or time.

UPDATE: I bought the better pedicure package, and my review is going from 4 to 5 stars. Such wonderful people that own and work at this family business. And they do GREAT WORK!!

This was my 1st visit to this business. I REALLY want to like this place because the people are kind and they do not burn incense, which triggers my sinuses and lungs. There are 2 pedicure packages, which I was unaware of (I did not look up to see the sign, so my fault) - the first one has maybe 3 minutes of weak massage time total. Next time, I will try the better pedicure. If they massage a lot more/with more pressure with that one, I’ll stick with this place. Having said that, there were pros and cons:

Pros:
They do not burn incense-huge plus
The location is good
The salon is nice, not fancy
The 3 workers appear to be family
The 3 workers were VERY KIND
The gel pedicure/design looks nice

Cons:
The pedicure chairs did not appear to be massaging chairs
There were no tables by the chairs to put your purse and keys
With the basic pedi, there was very little exfoliating, lotion, or massaging

I’ll try this place again and purchase the better pedicure package. The 1st pedi package is fine if you only want pretty nails and don’t care about the massage aspect.

I tried Nails on 5th for the first time today. This will now be my regular place! It’s a family business and their kindness is unmatched! I’ll be back in 3 weeks for another dip 🥰

Love this place. Family owned. Very efficient and I always leave happy. This will be my new regular nail place :)

Stopped in with my girlfriend, Kelli, to get a manicure and pedicure. Absolutely amazing service! We will definitely be returning in the future. 😁

This is such a wonderful salon ~~ extremely friendly and welcoming!! Also, so relaxing while I get a pedicure ~~ just a perfect environment!! Five stars for sure!!!

The team was so quick and polite! They helped me choose a color to best match my jewelry. I would 100% recomend visiting them in the future. I wish I could but I am from out of state.
