Great buffet style Mongolian BBQ! Create your custom dish from a plentiful buffet. Watch the chef cook in front of you and enjoy as much food as you can eat! Very fair and reasonable prices. Restaurant does not have a full bar but they do have beer and wine. Would definitely recommend for a casual sit down dinner!

Our waitress was Katy. She was on top of her game today one of the best waitresses I’ve seen or had in a long time! She was very attentive to all of her section, never had to stop her for refills or anything other than to catch her name! I definitely think she deserves a raise or move all the way to the top of the chain! She even made sure that her guest had a clean table to come back to when they went up to get more food! Definitely the experience that should be expected!!!!!

We came here for my son's birthday. There were 20 of us. Maddie, our server, did an excellent job keeping us in drinks and taking care of us. This place is basically a buffet. You have to get in line, grab a bowl (or two) and fill it with uncooked meat - there us a large variety- then noodles, vegetables and finally the sauces. Sauces come in a variety of flavors and spiciness. Choose carefully. You then take your bowl to the cooking wheel where your bowl of food is poured onto the wheel in order of your place in the line. After a few minutes your food is cooked, scooped onto a plate and handed to you. Actually a very efficient method. Interesting to watch.
Dessert and drinks are available at an added cost above the meal cost.
Somewhat expensive but the food is good.
Maddie was an excellent server.
Restrooms were clean.
Recommend if you don't mind buffet style.

We have been coming here for years! This is the best hu hot by far. Everyone here is fantastic and the food is great!

This Hu Hot is so much better than the one in Cedar Rapids! It’s cleaner, the food is fresher and seems to be in better condition, like new. Both locations have good service. I will eat here again when I’m in the area.

I haven't probably been here in about 12-13 years but daaaaaamn the food here is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 seriously. This is actually the restaurant that opened up my tastes to Asian cuisine. I wish there were a location more local to me!!!

I love huhot. Never a bad experience. Food cooking is fun to watch. The staff is great. Highly recommended. We love this place every time we go. So many choices and combinations. Hot or not there is something for you and the entire family. After going to huhot for many years I can say we have still never been let down. Today we ordered our first dessert and it was amazing just like the rest of the food

My friend and I had lunch in Coralville at HuHot and it was amazing as always for me! My friend said it was his first time and was looking forward to talking family there also. I have been going for almost 24 years now and still love it every time I eat there! I am a customer for life! Thank you, HuHot, for being awesome!

Sauce of the season changes now and then, so that's fun to try out. I'm not much of the meat eating persuasion these days but all the noodles, vegetables and sauces are always spot on. Generally chill vibe in the restaurant too.

I love HuHot and I have been in multiple locations, Waterloo, Davenport and this one in Iowa City is by far the best. The grill staff is so quick and friendly. The options are better on this line than some. Everything is fresh and clean, and the staff is very nice.

This place is where you need to go if you like variety and fullness. You get served a bowl of rice and unlimited opportunities. Make sure to go on an empty stomach​.

1st of all we went on my birthday ^-^ I guess I had the same birthday as the manager so I got a free dessert I don't think it's a regular thing but it was so nice of them ^-^ we got the s'mores and it was an all around good thing , we all had fun fast great food ^-^
