I am the traveler great food good patrons clean and reasonable price. Nice atmosphere friendly staff gave me cool Yuengling promo things because I could not make it to brewery highly recommend stop by you will be happy you did, and if you have kids lot of geocaching to do in this little town. The cheese steak sub comes with a dollop of sauce on top truly unfreaking believable 👍👍👍😲😎😎

I looked up restaurants in the area and this place had good reviews so we chose here to stop for lunch.
I ordered the Crab Stuffed Chicken Breast. It was so good, that even though I was full, I couldn't stop eating! I even asked for a to go container to take the remainder of the Alfredo sauce with me.
My husband was happy with his meal also. Glad this was the place we chose!!

Highly suggest ordering the "Miners Special" worth every penny and guaranteed not to leave hungry

Very diverse menu. From grilled cheese to cheesesteaks to full course meals. Their white zinfandel salad dressing is delicious! Always several specials available. Great fresh fries, cooked to perfection. The owner is very often there and talking with patrons. Never had a bad anything here! Friendly staff at all times!

I own a local business right up the road and stop often with my family. Obviously sometimes orders get mixed up etc due to help but overall its a great place. Good food and fair priced. Also like how the owner will often just pop in to ask if everything is alright. Shows he cares. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. A++++

Bigger than it looks! Nice staff and a pleasant crowd. They offer food, inexpensive drinks, and have live music performances on occasion. They have multiple dining areas so it's a great spot for small parties.

Excellent service and food. Menu has a good variety, and the wings are delicious. Ohhh yeah the beer is super cold, and a few varieties on tap.

I stopped here after a visit to Centralia, for lunch, and a further drive to Syracuse, NY. I'd planned on having a Philly cheese steak sandwich as I continued my drive, but I'm glad I chose to eat in. The atmosphere and staff of the Mineshaft Café were perfect, a highlight in the wonderful little town that is Ashland. My food (cheesesteak with fries, and a drink) was served hot and fresh, and quickly. My order of fries was huge, and perfectly cooked. The sandwich was also huge, hot, cheesy, and delicious. It was also perfectly sloppy as it should be, which is why I'm glad I didn't attempt an eat and drive! If you find yourself in this area, do make a stop, I have no doubt the other items on their good sized menu are as well worth the experience as mine was!

Wonderful Food. The staff is as delighted to see you as you are to see them. Band nights are a definite need around here. As long as they have them I will be there

If you're looking for a local secret, this place is it. The burger I had here was the single best burger I've had at any restaurant ever in my 44 years on this planet. Wish I lived closer.

Always great service. We had the parmesan crusted chicken. The portions are plentiful and it was delicious! The owner is always around and very friendly.

Went to see a concert here. Although the plane was very full, the wait staff still made time to check on everyone. The food was also very good.
