Columbus Granite

Met with Matt on a Saturday morning
He had the granite my wife and I had originally picked out, 3 years ago (prior to COVID). He gave me a quote on the spot, based on a sketch I made of our project. His price was better than the other 13 countertop suppliers for the same granite (Fiesta).
This was not a big custom home kitchen project, only 56 Sq. ft. and we are moving to FL. in a couple of years so we just want to enjoy our home for a few more years.
Within 2 weeks, he sent out a technician who expertly laser measured the job, made a few suggestions, and complimented me on the prep work I had done. (I completed my own demo and installed a farmers sink).
Matt called 2 days later and asked if I could be ready the next day because of a scheduling issue and by 7:00PM we had what amounted to a new kitchen.
At no time did I feel pressured or looked down upon because of the size or cost of the job. Matt always answered the phone and treated me like I was his most important client.
If you areconsidering new countertops, you have to consider Columbus Granite and Matt Topcu.

Highly recommend CG for your project needs. Matt was extremely responsive over email, and really assisted when we were on site to review the slabs in their warehouse - they have tons!

From initial on site to installed was less than two weeks, and we couldn’t be more pleased. The measuring and install was flawless and made life a breeze with a project like this.

Save your time shopping at the big box stores and go with the pros here - it’s going to be cheaper anyways and installed correctly.

Columbus Granite was one of three places in Columbus we looked for countertops. We chose Columbus Granite for a number of reasons. First of all, Jennifer was very patient with us as we tried to decide what we wanted. We were looking for soapstone, which is hard to find. Columbus Granite had multiple colors of slabs to choose from. Next, they scheduled our measurement visit in a timely manner. Robert was very knowledgeable and professional with his job. They called us very quickly to approve the layout of the slab and finalize all the edges, sink, faucet placement, etc. The installation was scheduled in about two weeks! Great! There was a slight hiccup in the installation process, as our existing cabinets turned out to be unlevel. Luckily, Freddie, our installer, did not feel comfortable installing our new soapstone counters on a less-than-ideal surface. He wasn't willing to cut corners and was very kind and apologetic that we would have to add another step (leveling the cabinets) before the install. After getting that done, the crew came back in a few days and did a beautiful job! We love that all the employees are part of the Columbus Granite team-no out sourcing here. That means a lot. They CARE! Matt was also very helpful and understanding. I would highly recommend Columbus Granite for your countertop needs! Great selection of all types of surfaces! (Our photos show the soapstone; the kitchen is still being finished and I will post more pictures of the completed kitchen.)

Absolutely blown away. I’ve worked in the remodeling and service industry my entire life and run my own business. I can’t recommend This company enough. From the choosing of my countertops with Jennifer, the template with Robert and the install with Freddy. Everyone of those people went above and beyond to explain everything in depth and make sure everything was perfect down to a tee.

The installers laid down drop cloths, were very respectable and even came and got me for a scratch on my cabinets that was actually done by me (Freddy was going to take fault). The integrity is unmatched. If I ever have to get counter tops installed another time I will definitely be going with this company again.

I can’t say enough good things about Matt & Columbus Granite. We were originally referred to another company by our contractor and were less than thrilled with the experience we had with them and felt like we were being forced to settle on our new countertops when they didn’t have anything we liked. We happened to go to Columbus Granite and Matt was extremely helpful, communicated promptly and was even able to get our install done a week ahead of the other company. I appreciate the great service that I received from Jennifer at Columbus Granite. I had went to a local store in my area and it was going to take 2 months to get my countertop. I went to Columbus Granite and they had it installed in 8 days from start to finish. Jennifer was very easy to work with and answered all my questions. They had a nice selection. Columbus Granite was great to work with. They had a great selection of granite in stock. I was looking for something to match my current countertops and well not a perfect match it looks really great. Matt was very thorough on expectations. the gentleman that came out to measure also shared some concerns and even the gentleman that came and installed shared process of installation

Columbus Granite gave a competitive price on the granite which was selected within a couple of days of visiting their location. After a few emailed questions, we agreed to move forward with the purchase. TA store's employee reached out to set a date for measurement and was punctual on the arrival date / time. Less than 7 days later the installers, who were polite and professional, arrived and did a great job installing the countertops. I highly recommend as the process took roughly 3 weeks from browsing for granite to the install with a competitive price and professional service. I'm very happy with the appearance. Pics of original kitchen look, then just before laminate countertops were removed and after finally after granite was installed ... I'M still in the process of refacing cabinets :)

From the moment we walked into Columbus Granite, until the moment our countertops were installed, we were treated with the highest level of respect, courtesy, and professionalism. We received estimates much quicker from Columbus Granite than other vendors. The selection was great, the design process was clear, and the final result is gorgeous. Best yet, the pricing was awesome! They went above and beyond my expectations!

We went here after cabinets to go and their countertop vendor mismeasured our countertops and doubled the price on us. Jennifer was very helpful from the first call. The installers were very attentive to detail, very clean crew. I only had one thing that I noticed and they corrected it in a matter of hours, no fuss just done. We had quartz counter top and back slash done. It is fantastic. One two very small seams which are barely noticeable. I know were they are and I have to look for them. Friends and family can't find them. They are not the cheapest but the prices were fair considering we asked for as few seams as possible. Very high quality stone, people, and customer service. The installers wanted to make sure we were happy with every decision and even gave my wife color choices with the caulk to see what she preferred. The very best. No one else can compare!!!!

What a great experience! We worked with Jennifer who helped us find the perfect granite for our bathroom. She let us know there were remnants available which made the job so affordable, we decided to do all three bathrooms instead of just one. We came in to look at the pieces and then again after they had done very careful measurements. The entire job took only two hours and a minimal mess and disruption. Columbus Granite was a pleasure to work with and everything went very smoothly. We highly recommend them.

We visited multiple places while looking for countertops for our new cabinets we were having installed. We met Matt and he let us look through all the slabs to get an idea of what we liked. At that point we were looking at quotes only and there was no pressure at all to buy.

After finally making all the color choices, my cabinet installer actually suggested another granite group and I had contacted them to see about prices and such. While they were okay, they had issues scheduling the measurements with me. We were leaving on a trip and just wanted the measurement scheduled a few days after cabinet installation. I wasn't overly impressed with how they ran, and while I was going to get a small discount for using them, I opted to go back to Columbus Granite since I liked how it was run.

Again Matt was there and showed me slabs. I am a rather indecisive person and he left me to just decide on which color I thought was best for our kitchen. I appreciated the time to just get my thoughts together.

Again it was a no pressure sale and I finally made the choice. He did assure me that if the item was in stock, I could change my mind up to the measurement time frame. We scheduled the measurement without any issue.

The measurement process was easy as well. I could tell it was done precisely and carefully.

The next business day I received a call from Matt to see if I had any questions before cutting took place. I did not so they went ahead. I received a call 2 days later to schedule and was impressed with the turn around time. 2 days after that we had new countertops.

The installers were great and did a very professional job. I'm a rather picky person and even the dishwasher was lined up perfectly. Over all I cannot say enough good about Columbus granite. The time frame to professionalism of everyone I worked with was great. Would use them again if we ever have a need!
