Claremont Cafe

I grew up in a small town and there was a diner run by a Dad and Mom and the kids. This was that diner. It consists of: give your order, grab your drinks, retrieve your meal when announced and bus your table. I loved it. The folks were kind and willing to tell me the history of a family run business since 1932. And my breakfast, heaped with goodness, for under $10. It all screams: welcome home.

Family owned business been open for yrs. Has the older time feel as an old dinner. They cook to order, and it's cash only no worries though there is is a bank with an ATM right a cross the street. Their burgers are fresh beef with fresh cut veggies every day. Absolutely love this place

Best burgers & french fries in town. Cash only. Fast service & excellent atmosphere. They close at 2pm, Burgers are delicious!

This place is great! Old fashioned food. Delicious! Prolly not your place if your on a diet. I highly recommend this place.

If you want to eat like a local, you need to try the Claremont Cafe. It is truly a hidden gem here in the Hickory Metro. The outside may not be much to look at, but when you get one of their old-fashioned burgers, it is truly nostalgic. It will bring you right back to your childhood. One thing to take note of, is they only accept cash, so be prepared when going.

One of the best Cafes in Catawba county, nothing has changed , still just as good and same taste now as it was when I was a kid , I'm 58 now. Love this place

Six of us went for lunch and everything was spectacular. Brandi and Marc were great hosts. Food was served timely and with a smile. The servings were oversized and well worth the money. Do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant

Don't let the outside of this homey little place fool you. This Cafe is an amazing, friendly place that serves the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. My livermush, egg and cheese was huge and delicious. The roast pork can't even be described. And the steak? They use some kind of magical voodoo on that sandwich. I can't wait for my next breakfast trip. This place is worth the trip, the wait and the visit!

Old fashioned, down home cooking. Burgers are great, nice to know the art of making homemade chili still exist! If you can get there in time for the country style steak before the days batch is gone, you will see why it's so popular! Family run , great service.

Amazing little mom n pop spot! Cash only but there is a bank across the road. Worth stopping in... trust me!!!

Rate high mainly on home town feel. No new gimmicks, just tasty food served their way. Great burgers, fried steak which they have on Wednesdays till it runs out. Hard working family. Meet friends.

Great place, always has been. I have been here a lot when I was younger then I moved to the other side of town and don't get here much. But it is still the same place. I love this place.
