We purchased a Hunter Douglas blind last month for our newly remodeled bathroom.
It looks beautiful!
The staff was very helpful - the blind is a perfect color match and delivery and installation was a breeze.

I cannot say thank you enough to Melissa and her team! We took one of our blinds in that had separated hoping she would be able to give us pointers on how to fix it. She realized right away that this was a defect and worked hard to contact Hunter Douglas to have the blind replaced. Then she informed us that Hunter Douglas was going to replace all the blinds in the room the defective one came from for free so they all matched!! At a time when nothing else was going right, to have the blinds replaced for free was not what we expected. Then we found another one that had also separated and Melissa was able to have that run replaced too! She definitely was a shining light at a dark time and restored my faith in humanity. To top it off she arranged for the blinds to be installed very quickly before the house sold. I will never go to a different drapery store again. Draperies & Things is now my favorite place. Again, Melissa and your team, we thank you. You are incredible.

I took in three older light-colored cellular shades that had gotten pretty grimy just from household dust over many years. I noticed they were dirty particularly when I pulled up the shades —the edges looked dark. These guys cleaned them thoroughly and they are like new again. I couldn’t be more amazed at the difference it makes in how much brighter our rooms are. I’m happy going into winter to have these clean again and the price was very reasonable.

This was a totally positive experience. The staff in the show room are very knowledgeable about about a wide variety of applications to make your home/office windows standout. I chose blinds that were powered to ease the changing of levels for my wife. The look was outstanding and required no electrical modifications because they came with a battery pack. The installer was friendly and on time. He did an excellent job with the installation and programmed the remote to a variety of options. He did a nice job of explaining all the functions to my wife as she will do most of the adjusting of the shades. He was quick and did a good job of hauling off all of his trash and packing debris. This is the second time I have used Draperies 'N' Things and I know I can always count on them to give me competitive pricing

Melissa came to measure at my home, she was respectful, intelligent, & efficient. I appreciated her professionalism, but mostly she built my shades based off a flip comment I had made about wishing I could have a pull down from the top as well as up from the bottom. I had no idea there was such a thing.

I called Draperies n Things for a consult on window treatments for my living room, family room and bedrooms. There being so many design choices, I knew I needed professional help! Jen came to my house and showed me the possibilities for my windows taking into account the size, sunlight, privacy, and ease of use. She answered all my questions and concerns and confidently recommended the perfect style for all the rooms. Jen measured the windows and left me with fabric samples to decide on color and textures. She returned a second time to re-measure and go over what we had chosen. She is very nice, knowledgeable and so helpful in finding the right shade for the room. Communication with Jen was excellent. Installation was amazing! Josh arrived with one other person and they installed 8 windows in about an hour! They were courteous, removed their shoes and wore masks. The whole experience with Draperies n Things was great and the window treatments are beautiful, we love them! Highly recommended!

The owner, Jen, is very, sweet, polite, & knowledgable. She gave some some really helpful advice. We were very pleased with the Hunter Douglas cellular shades & the vertical blinds that we bought from her. The home appts & the installation appts were all done efficiently & on time.
Would definitely go back if we ever need anything else.
