These guys are awesome! They are ALL knowledgeable of the products they sell, especially Charity.
They communicate with each other in a positive manner. I absolutely loved how one person could be working with me, and another employee stepped up to the conversation
to share their knowledge. There was no stepping on each other's toes or one trying to be the smartest person in the room. They were totally supportive of each other with my best interest in mind.
At the front counter, you will find 4 women, which might make one believe they are paper pushers. But don't be fooled. These ladies know their stuff and are confident in their ability to provide you with what you need.
It's not at all like going to the chain stores, where you get belittled by some guy in fancy jeans, that couldn't cut it in the construction world and is just as incompetent as he looks. You will leave with the best products for your job, and you will be confident in your decision because it was explained thoroughly before you purchased it.
I purchased shingles and the Newtechwood siding option. It is very difficult to visually determine if the products you are choosing are compatible in design and color, but fear not, they will be upfront and honest with you. They do not want you to be stuck with something you hate later. You will be given locations where their products have been installed, and they send you home with several samples to help guide your decision.
I was able to pick up my siding on site. My shingles just happened to be out of stock, but Charity was able to locate some on a truck in Salt Lake. She was on the phone the next business day and secured the bundle for me. She called my roofer and let him know what we had and when it would be available. You won't find that kind of service in the local chain stores.
Building can be a very stressful, maddening endeavor, but these guys were a ray of sunshine after dealing with a few mental midgets elsewhere. I will definitely be going back here for any future needs, and I will be recommending them to anyone who might be looking for the products they provide.

Had fun shppping for roofing shingles today. Turns out I wanted a color that is seldomly used. Rod took good care of me and sent me home with a sample, just to ease my mind and help me solidify my choice. They were eager and quick to help me. It's too bad I only need a new roof every 20-30 years. Hahaha...

Always a pleasure doing business with Harrington & Company. I am a local siding contractor, I often have customers that pick siding colors that only Harrington offers.. I have received Fast friendly service from the staff while shopping at Harrington & Company. I buy most of my siding at the other retailer in town, and have not delt with Harrington much. Every time I have bought vinyl siding there, it has been an enjoyable experience. Thanks for the excellent service.
