Steep Mountain Tea Company

Stopped in to try their Candy Cane tea latte, and it was delightful! Like Christmas in a cup :) The staff were super warm and welcoming, which just added to the cozy and charming aesthetic of the shop. Of course their tea lattes are made to order, so I was happy to wait a few minutes while my drinks were being made and used that time to check out their trinket section - I'm always excited to see handmade items and quirky little things! The lattes were perfect temperature for sipping on the way to the car, and the peppermint tea was tasteful but not overpowering in the latte, which I had made with oatmilk. Overall, 10/10 and I'm excited to return to try another one of their cute seasonal drinks!

Went here for the first time today and loved it! Beautiful atmosphere in there and they created my own drink for me! I asked if they could make me a bubble drink that's caffeine free and got a lavender lemon drink with honey bubbles! 10/10 at Steep Mountain Tea Company!

Love this little shop!! It's so cozy, welcoming, and their tea selection is wonderful. I've tried: hot, cold, bubble, and even their coffee. Everything is on-point!! Oh and their pastries are phenomenal too. They have a nice rotation of different cookies, scones, Danish, cakes, muffins, and bagels! Must try if you're in the area!! 🍵🫖🙌🦕

This is the cutest find!! I am so glad I found this gem. Store is absolutely adorable and the teas were amazing. It was hard to pick what I wanted as it all sounded so go.

It smelled heavenly inside. Absolutely adorable place, food looked amazing, and the coffee was divine.

I (and pretty much everyone who's visited) loves Steep Mountain. Due to their location and alumni ties, they feel a part of the Seton Hill University Community. Their knowledge of tea is top notch and the quality of their product is unmatched.

This is also a great place for meeting a friend or reserving the top floor for a staff retreat.

I love this place! The atmosphere is comfortable and soothing! They have delicious Matcha and friendly service. You can also get a student discount here 😊 Their Chai Latte is really good too! I’ve been there several times and it has become a regular spot for me now. It does tend to get pretty busy with college students mostly so if you need a quiet space to work you’ll have to figure out what times are the least busy.

Great tea and great people!! Came opening day and was impressed by how well it was run and how beautiful it was inside!!

Edit: I’ve been several times since and it has even gotten better somehow!! The fall special Pumpkin Spice Tea Latte was incredible!!!

1 year later edit: the MATCHA. Literally speechless. I’m beyond addicted wow…

Coffee update… Amazing delicious coffee, still prefer their matcha over ANY coffee place, but still easily some of the best coffee you can get in Pittsburgh!!!

I’ve been to this place twice now and both times the drinks were fantastic. This last time I got the seasonal gingerbread latte and it was absolutely wonderful. Love the little shop in there as well and the overall vibe is very inviting!

What a great place! The staff was so helpful to explain all the choices to us. The atmosphere is perfect and the place is nicely decorated and very comfortable.

The most AMAZING shop in all of Greensburg. Whether I’m in the mood for coffee, tea, or something sparkling, Steep has a seemingly unlimited number of options on the board for me to choose from! Their seasonal specials are all delicious, and everyone I come in contact with at the shop is kind, caring, and giving. I basically have lived here since they opened, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! <3

I cannot give this place enough stars! The atmosphere is wonderful and so is the staff/owner! They are friendly, kind, and just the type of people you would want to know! They even donate to a dog rescue! This place is a hidden gem and the drinks are great! The tasty treats are divine.
If you're looking for a new place for a coffee date, a place to do homework, impromtu interview, read a book, or play a few games with friends then this is the place! ❤❤❤

I love going down to Steep Mountain to study and hang out with friends. The atmosphere is so aesthetic, the food is so spectacular, and the drinks never miss the mark! I’d recommend for anyone!

Greensburg has needed a tea shoppe for so long!!!! I am so thankful that I finally learned of Steep Mountains' existence. Before even taking a sip of tea, I fell in love with the ambiance of the place... the plants, the zen like appeal, cute little trinkets, and hidden surprises. Walking around, I felt like it was a game of hidden objects. Do me a favor and find the Totoro!!! Now, onto the tea. My go-to is always a London fog, but after inquiring about what a Steeps fog was, I decided to try that, and I'm so glad I did. It was absolutely amazing!! I paired it with an apple muffin that was delicious. I was so impressed with their tea that I just had to take an iced black tea for the road. I will definitely be back, and I'm so thrilled this brilliant shop is a part of this town! I hope they stay forever.

Husband and I absolutely love Steep Mountain tea! The best tea lattes we have ever had and the ceremonial matcha is *chefs kiss*. The atmosphere is lovely and the employees have been nothing but kind!

They’ve recently fallen under some fire from another local cafe all because the owner of steep mountain has the same name as me and was accused of attacking their business. Could not be farther from the truth! I have never met the owners and am in no way associated with them or the business nor am I a friend or family of them. Just a lover of local businesses and cafes who happens to have the same name. Don’t buy into the slander, steep mountain is delicious and an upright business in the community!

My wife and I had made this our regular spot to go to. With me being in school it’s the best place to sit and relax while doing schoolwork. Marcus is a great guy with great music taste with always something positive to say, his mom is fun and friendly everytime I see her. The entire staff is hands down the best crew of any Greensburg storefront. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming. If you’re looking for a place to go to and relax this is literally the place to go to do it. If I could give this place 20 stars I would!

Absolutely loved the vibe of the place, we came in with our 1 month old daughter and I ordered a pumpkin spice tea latte and it was delicious!! Very flavorful without being overwhelming! Can't wait to go back again!!

The tea was delicious! It so refreshing to actually find a quaint store that serves tea and not coffee as their main menu items! The place was adorable and so cozy. Parking is difficult!

Amazing atmosphere, fast service, delicious drinks. The employees were very friendly and brought our drinks out to us. Italian Raspberry soda with boba was so refreshing, and the Jasmine raspberry tea was a great find :)

UNDERRATED BUSINESS OF GREENSBURG. A TRUE GEM.

Food wise: I would really like to see non-dairy and Vegan options, because that's the only part this place is lacking.

The setup emanates high fantasy, Lord of the Rings, Alice in Wonderland aesthetics. It's serenity indoors and upstairs. A nerd's happy place.

Don't start me on how amazing their teas are. They're SO GOOD because they're primarily focused on tea, not coffee.

Fun fact: As of 11/7 they're getting a fancy schmancy new espresso machine, so those bevvies will be foaming out the doors soon! I'm so pleased to see an independent business with such vision and quality control actually SUCCEEDING.
