Rizzo's Malabar Inn

Fantastic local restaurant which not only offers excellent food, but also offers catering. In fact you can plan your entire event and hold it at Rizzo's since they have a large area for about any sized event you can think of. Again, the food is awesome most of which is homemade. Our server Aeriel was very friendly, prompt and helpful with menu options. Thanks Aeriel, you helped make the special night out that much more so.

We are so fortunate to have such a fine "one of a kind" restaurant in the area.

I couldn't have been more impressed. As a former restaurant owner operator, all facets of the dining experience were executed with excellence. Nothing else to add except to try them for yourself.

We had our parents anniversary dinner here with several different families. They were patient with us, even allowing us to rearrange the tables a bit to make sure our parents were the center of the attention. The food was absolutely delicious and filling! Portions were more than enough, we had more for the next days lunch!

The food here is absolutely delicious. Great family atmosphere. They make you feel like you are family. Friendly and efficient staff. The lamb chops are FANTASTIC!!! If you dine here, come hungry. The portions are LARGE. You will not go away hungry. If it's just dinner for 2, a large family dinner or a catered event, I highly recommend giving Rizzo's a try. You won't be disappointed.

Every year for valentines day we go to rizzos and several times during the year. The food is outstanding and they are consistent with the quality of the food. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere especially in the lounge area is our speed. 3 meat spaghetti is my go too and end up with another meal for later because it's a lot of food. Desserts oh my, red velvet cake this time, usually tiramasu. Love it here.

Very family friendly place with great food and big portion sizes. Everything is freshly made. The service is even better with friendly waiters. I love sitting in the bar room.

They also are very community oriented, having various events that support the community.

Rizzo's hosted a party for us for an anniversary--about 30 people. They accommodated us so well, we were so impressed with the wait staff--kudos. AND the food was LEGIT. We went straight in to a 21 day fast the next day, for us adults... Teens are going 3 days, and then only down side was that my boys couldn't eat their leftovers😆

A busy place! That just shows you that they do a great job. Our service was excellent, even though it was pretty crowded.

Plenty of parking for both of the restaurant and the banquet facility. Very friendly staff. Clean, especially the restrooms.

On to the food! I really enjoyed my meal here. Like a price a solid was pretty good. The tomatoes were ripe, the basil was fresh, and they weren't cheap with the mozzarella. I definitely would order this again.

I ordered the Italian Pasta sampler. The meatball was excellent, the ravioli were good, and gnocchi were perfectly prepared. Next time I go I will ask to go for light sauce, as my only complaint was they were a little heavy-handed with the sauce. But the sauce is pretty good!

I definitely will go again.

We stopped for dinner before a concert at nearby Palace theater. I had the chicken parmesan with pasta. The sauce is super good. The fried zucchini appetizer was super good too. Be prepared to eat a ton of bread. There will be no room for dessert.

Celeste is the only name that needs to be on this review because she is probably the best waitress I've had!!! She had great hospitality toward my grandmother who can't eat much and was over all an amazing person. If I could've tipped her 100000 I would and maybe more cause of how amazing she was. If an owner sees this Celeste needs a raise or something cause she is the absolute best!!!!!!!

I've been dining at Rizzo's since I was a little girl. It's my favorite place to eat and the place we go to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or just because. The food is delicious and the service is always great.

We picked up our Thanksgiving Day meals for Thanksgiving Day . The service was superb , gave them our name . They bought it straight to us within 5 minutes . Now if it tastes as good as it looks , everything will be Wonderful .

This is a childhood nostalgic spot for my family! We LOVE the great atmosphere and love seeing our favorite server, Michelle, every time we visit. I am not kidding when I say I dream of the hot peppers with Asiago cheese, and I live for the cavatelli and meatball. You won’t be disappointed! Also try the polenta and Asiago, the manicotti, and the cute little house salad with their house made beets. I live in Austin, Texas now and I come back to Rizzos anytime I’m near Pittsburgh. I love this place with all of my heart <3 seriously, get the hot peppers with Asiago. Seriously.

It was just me and my sister having a birthday dinner together. We each shared a small antipasto salad which was huge. It Could have easily fed 4 people. I got the beef braciole dinner which was a nice size portion of 2 beef braciole rolls and a side of pasta. My sister got the gnocchi and ravioli, and I ordered a small plain pizza as well. We sampled each other's dishes, the salad, and pizza. Everything was very good and the service was excellent! I especially liked the braciole and red sauce that accompanied it because it was the sauce it was cooked in. It had so much rich flavor. The ambiance was reminiscent of an Italian old school feel with many pictures adorning the walls and just has that feel that says your going to eat some good Italian food here!! I will definitely be back!

I was very impressed. We had 16 in our group. All of the meals came out at the same time. It was all hot. And of course, it was delicious. Very good service,too.

Very nice family place with homemade pasta and Rich Marinara and Pomodoro sauces. When I visit Pennsylvania my family likes to have one meal there and it's a nice quiet place to talk and visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that I always forget until I get there is that you can park on both sides of the street to go into the restaurant.

Picked up some Lasagna for a party of 30...super busy in the store part, but had our order ready. It was an order placed online. Very good as usual!!

Met with family..There were 8 of us..Great service for how busy it was... The good was fabulous!!!

I was hired by the couple who had their wedding ceremony and reception at the venue. Very good food and a beautiful place. The staff was amazing! Friendly and courteous!
