Super friendly and helpful but not in a patronizing way! Even told me about a store that I might be able to find more if I couldn’t find what I was looking for (air brush paint). He assumed I knew what I was doing and did not make me feel like a he thought I was a girl who had no idea what she was doing. He just showed me where the paints were and left me to it. The lack of being patronizing or mansplaining made a huge difference and I will be going back. I do not write reviews for stores but I had such a pleasant experience that I just had to.

They have a big selection and service was great when we needed something fixed.

Looks pretty new, limited selection compared to other HT's. The guy working was very friendly and helpful.

Aaron (manager) knows his stuff! Glenn (owner) has always been very helpful and attentive. They stock a wide variety of hobby related things and it's always exciting to walk in to see the newest and greatest in R.C. They can repair anything that you can possibly break and give tons of tips and information regarding your purchase. If they don't have it in stock they are more than willing to special order which only comes within a few days...much better than ordering online since I prefer having a human face to communicate with. Will always support local! You guys are awesome :)

Very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They have all the parts stocked you might need, and will sell you the best (not always most expensive--I've been talked out of it) piece to get you on your way. Kid friendly atmosphere, and will continue to go here for repairs for our Traxxas truck.

I have been dealing with Glen and his staff for over 10 years now. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't have what I need, an order comes in quickly. They are my go-to people for all my RC Aircraft and more needs.

Best hobby store in town, AND PEOPLE, parts for everything

Walked in with my kid's remote controlled Traxxas truck in hand. Wouldn't run. Had no idea what I was doing. A young man helped me immediately and I was on my way out the door with exactly what I needed to make the truck go in less than 10 mins. Very happy customer. Very happy kid. Will be back! :)

At hobby town it is very well set up as well as easy to find although getting into the parking lot can be confusing. The people that work there are very nice and polite and have perty good knowledge on all sections of the store from big rcs to planes, to model kits and down to diorama products, definitely recommend hobby town, if they don't have what your looking for, they will order it in for you

Wasn't sure what to find when we went in but was very surprised to find Gundam figures. Very friendly and knowledgeable employees. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

Top level customer service! I ordered some parts to complete my TRX-4 Defender and through no fault of Hobbytown, DHL and Canada Post lost my Order. After a quick call to customer service, Josh from customer service had my ordered refunded and reordered. Thanks Josh and Hobbytown for helping this Canadian get back to crawling!! Customer for life!!

Great people, they don't always have what i need in stock, but that's to be expected. that said, they are always willing to special order those parts if they are available. would recommend to anyone.

The guys here are very helpful. Lots of knowledge and help shared with us. My husband just started collecting rc cars, its his favorite shop now!

Every one i have came in contact with was great better parts selection would be nice other than that its all good exept for the chubby guy with lisp he knows nothing and has zero experience unless you know what you need and he is working just walk away to get my parts ordered other than ringing me up and filling out a sheet of paper i was doing his job

Great place to get Gundam model kits and paint supplies. Owner regularly posts photos of new stock selection on Facebook as well.
