Great service and a very family-like atmosphere. The food and smoothies are made to order. I ordered two beef empanadas and they were so addicting that I had to order more. Got a mango pineapple smoothie with oat milk and that hot the spot. Argentinian food at its finest plus some wonderful pastries. Highly recommended.

We had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and the smoked salmon and Avocado croissant. I was impressed that they allowed me to choose how I wanted my eggs because a lot of places default to scrambled eggs for breakfast sandwiches. The croissants were perfectly buttery, crispy, and flaky. The iced vanilla latte was not overly sweet, and the espresso packed just the right amount of punch! If you're in the area and you're looking for a place for breakfast or brunch, don't go to IHOP or First Watch. Go here instead. I guarantee you won't regret it!

This place is a hidden gem. It’s a small family run shop that always delivers in terms of quality and service!

It’s a bit pricey but very much worth it, as you’ll find empanadas here with flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. They’re all made in-house and fresh everyday. And the worst part is that they sell out pretty fast!

Their breakfast and croissants are also great and well as their coffees and lattes. Every time I’ve gone here, I’ve left this place feeling fully satisfied. Now I just need to start getting through their dessert menu, but it might take some time as I prefer to go here for breakfast or brunch (It’s a perfect brunch spot!).

I love this cute and quaint coffee shop. Great atmosphere, outstanding service, nice music, delicious food, gourmet coffee and excellent pastries/desserts. Very welcoming.
The owners are very charming and they make you feel at home, they are in all the details. Cappuccino and macchiato are my favorite espresso coffees, always with a small cookie on the side. The food is very fresh, always homemade, salads are very complete, the empanadas are the best, the spinach and feta soup is superb, sandwiches are very good, great quiches, the pastries are sooo yummy and the artisan mini desserts are to die for. They also cater and specialize in custom decorated cakes for any event.

This is a hidden gem. I almost dont want to leave this review because it's a great "best kept secret" in the area. This cute hipster-like cafe is in an unassuming plaza on University drive. They have a wide range of caffeinated beverages, an assortment of empanadas and a great breakfast menu. Large portions, slim prices. You gotta try them out.

I love this little café!! It's my second time here. The food is delicious and the staff is so friendly. The little desserts with your coffee is such a cute touch. Wish I took pics of my first visit. Will definitely be back.

Super cute and quaint bistro! A true hidden gem in the heart of Lauderhill. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Its the perfect spot to catch up with a friend or just take a well needed coffee break. A must visit!

I would rate this 4.5 stars but since I can only pick 4 or 5 I will round up. Amarena is located on University Drive in a strip mall. The interior is very nice with a rustic cafe vibe. It smells delicious as soon as you walk in, which is a plus. They offer a selection of coffees, pastries, desserts, omelettes, salads, and sandwiches with either bagels, bread, or croissants. My boyfriend & I had an almond milk cappuccino and a cortadito, which both tasted pretty good. We each ordered the caprese omelette and it was delicious and very well made. We also ordered a pastry each and both of those were good but nothing extraordinary. The star of our meal was definitely the omelette which was served with thick cut white toast. I enjoyed this experience and will definitely not hesitate to visit this location in the future.

Great price and succulent food. They never disappoint every time our office orders. The food is fresh and made to order on the spot. This is by far my favorite go-to breakfast Cafe compared to others surrounding the area. The lunch sandwiches and the Passion fruit frappé (my favorite) are also great and flavorsome. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking around for something to eat during breakfast or lunch. I would call beforehand if you want to order any of their fruit frappé since the passion fruit one sells out the most. Nothing here not to like.

Excellent service, exquisite bread, soft and tasty meat, a defined seasoning and not at all overloaded, coffee and desserts very tasty. Ideal for breakfast, brunch or lunch, we will return.

Oh Amarena how I do love thee!!!
If you are looking for a quaint little bistro-esque restaurant for a fresh made bite, Amarena should be where you are heading. Everything I have tried on the menu from soup to salad to sandwiches to omelettes to the coffee and even on to the desserts have all been absolutely phenomenal! My favorite are the tequenos which are the BEST you will ever have! Followed up by my other favorite of the croissant breakfast sandwiches. You seriously can't go wrong no matter what you decide to order! The owners are so hospitable and kind, you can see they really do value their food and their customers which is truly hard to find these days.

Do yourself a favor and be sure to uncover this little gem the next time you are in the Sunrise area!

I always wanted to come to this place for years never had a chance to. So me and my mom had some free time this morning and decided to go and man it was worth it! One if the best experiences we've had in a long time! The staff was amazing the decor was gorgeous the coffee was perfect and the food was delicious!!! Definitely recommend and Definitely coming again!!!! Good job ladies! 👍

Random choice but it was a fabulous one. Best black coffee I have had on this visit to Florida. The chicken and cheese/onion empanadas were delicious. Will return on my next visit for sure!

Food was cooked to order, service was friendly and professional, the place was clean, well organized, with an European flair. The best! The coffee! Superb! Loved the place!

Wow! What an amazing little cafe-bistro. I went with my mom and daughter and we were won over by the delicious smells and food. It is very clean, even the bathrooms, which is often a reflection of the cleanliness elsewhere.

The owners are a husband and wife team (Argentinian and Venezuelan, respectively) and so sweet and humble. They love their customers and no doubt they will know us well. I plan to come back frequently!

Every time I work on the area, always stop by, sometimes just for a good Espresso, some delicious cake, or have omelet for breakfast .
Adorable place, like the design, love it the place is always spotless clean.
And the food is always fresh and delicious!!
Highly recommended!
