Absolutely beautiful pictures! Family photos on the beach with a fussy 19mo old and a hyper 6 year old- Ryan was amazing with them and took some absolutely wonderful pictures. Every time we are back in Gulf shores we will be calling them up! Along with beautiful pics they are also a very sweet and wonderful family, which makes them all the more better!! Go with them; you will not regret it :)

Ryan was incredibly professional and fun to work with. He took many poses so we have a ton to choose from. He met us on site at a Nature Preserve and made my daughter the star of every single photo. Highly recommend for senior photos. I appreciate them working around our schedule. Will definitely use for future family photos and senior photos for my other kids. Our experience with Sun shots photography was Amazing. I Found them online and from there started our great experience. I was able to speak with them directly from scheduling our family beach photos and kept in contact via email as well. Response was always quick and I never had any doubt that our pictures and session would go any other way but great!. When we had our session, the couple was so personal and we talked the entire time like we were friends. Ryan and Maggie were amazing with our kids and you can tell that their heart is truly centered around developing amazing pictures that are captured for families to cherish! I booked a small family picture session with my 2 1/2 year old son. I was super nervous about how long my son’s attention span would last with paying for beach pictures. But all I can say after our session and receiving our pictures is WOW! Ryan was AMAZING with my little one! He was able to grab his attention how ever he needed too and was able to keep his attention for almost the solid hour we were there. I was amazed and my family was amazed as well!

I also loved the fact that Ryan wasn’t scared to let me know if something was going to look silly in the picture, whether it be my hair was messed up and I needed to fix it due to the wind or if my pose was not up to par. I appreciate photographers that voice their opinions about these certain things because after all paying for pictures you want them to the perfect!

Maggie and Ryan were always quick to respond to my questions or concerns I had. If my family and I decide that we would like to take beach pictures in the gulf shores area again we will not hesitate to call Ryan and Maggie!!

Best photographers ever!!! We have had several sessions with Ryan and Maggie and have never been disappointed. Not only was every photo frame worthy (I may have ordered an oversized canvas or two also) but they have helped create memories that will last forever. I have very active children that will not always cooperate during photography sessions. But Ryan and Maggie both have fun, playful personalities that captivate my kids’ interest and attention and puts beautiful, genuine smiles on their faces that only they have been able to capture on camera. We had such a great experience with Sun Shots! Our extended family included 7 adults and three little ones. Our pictures are amazing!! Ryan and Maggie were so creative while working with the kids. Because some weather was moving in, they had called us to move up our appointment and relocated our site. So grateful they didn’t even consider rescheduling!! Everyone ordered pictures from the awesome proofs and my pictures still make me smile. This was our first trip to Gulf Shores and our first time having family photos taken on the beach, and we could not be happier! My son and I had a wonderful experience with Maggie and Ryan! They were professional from the time I booked our appointment until we received our final pictures. They made our photo shoot on the beach fun, entertaining and quick in order to capture and keep my son's attention! They made him feel like a rock star which in turn, created beautiful, authentic smiles and pictures! Even though we only worked with them for 1 shoot, they made us feel like we'd known them forever. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a beach photographer!

Beautiful Work! Ryan and Maggie were amazing to work with. It was clear from the beginning they knew what they were doing. Ryan was making sure he was getting all the right shots and Maggie was hustling making sure we all looked perfect. They were so nice and were cracking us all up, which was especially helpful for my kids. These are the kinds of people I would be friends with. When planning our trip to Gulf Shores I found Sun Shots and am very happy I did! Ryan and Maggie captured amazing pictures of my family on the beach. I am not sure how I will chose which ones to display in our home. Ryan and Maggie Caver were very professional and very patient while photographing our group of 6 adults and 5 children. On the day they came for the shoot it was very windy so one can only assume the weather posed a big challenge setting up the poses on the beach. But all the pictures are keepers. Best Experience with beach photography. Ryan & Maggie made it so fun for my family. They were professional & were determined to get the best shots they could. We are so thrilled with our family portraits from Sun Shots Photography. The whole experience was wonderful with Ryan and Maggie. They were great at getting our kids to smile and they even touched up our photographs to make them look their best. Texting and phone calls made communication very easy. We used Sun Shots Photography for the first time in 2011 when our children were ages 3, 5, and 10. From the moment we met, Maggie and Ryan felt like friends, making our photo shoot feel calm, relaxed, and fun. Our very serious middle child was all smiles throughout the photo shoot. Even when the baby was tired of cooperating, they brought smiles and giggles back to his face. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that I did not have to come up with any ideas for poses or groupings. My husband and I got to relax and enjoy the entire time as they did all the work. Most photographers will ask, "What is it you want?" or "What did you have in mind?" Maggie and Ryan already know what we want…great shots of our family having a fun time together in beautiful Gulf Shores. I was excited to see them again in 2014. We had another wonderful experience. They are lovely people who provide the highest quality service and product for a very reasonable price. I could not recommend them more highly.

I really need 10 stars for recommending Ryan and Maggie and Sun-Shots Photography. They photographed 5 of my grandchildren during Spring Break ‘17, and the shots were fantastic! They captured each child’s personality perfectly, and kept everyone engaged and happy. This summer, we booked a family session for 15! Unfortunately, due to a travel cancellation, 9 of our party were detained for 2 days. We contacted Ryan and Maggie, and considered an option of photos of the 6 people present. Knowing that I had hoped to have photos of all my children and grandchildren while we were together, and despite the fact that Ryan and Maggie were not available on the night we needed to book a new appointment, Maggie gave me the contact information for another photographer who could schedule our shoot. I have never had such a positive experience with a business who was so focused on fulfilling our personal wishes at the expense of their own revenue. Maggie even refused to charge us a cancellation fee since the travel delay was out of our control. Feel confident in booking any of your photography needs with this amazing couple! You will be extremely pleased!

Taken far too long to write this but really needed to give Sun Shots their due.
My brother was married in August in Gulf Shores so we made a family vacation of the whole event. For some time my Mom had wanted family photos done, but we had always just put it off, but finally thought what better place than the gorgeous beach! We were a large group that had a 2 year old and baby. I was nervous my son (the 2 year old) would make the photos very difficult to take..my Dad nicknamed him Winston Churchill because he never smiles. But, Maggie worked some magic and had him giggling through out, and Ryan captured just insanely beautiful photos of everyone. My Mom was so thrilled, one photo of her and my Dad she said was her favorite photo ever taken of them. In 37 years of marriage that says a lot.

Sadly, my mom passed away unexpectedly two weeks ago. That photo was the photo we used on all her memorial items. She was so happy that day and I'll be grateful forever for Maggie and Ryan for providing us with not just those memories but the photographs that are incredible that we can always look back on. Thank you all so much!!!

Ryan and Maggie are the best! They have photographed us and family members over the years and they never disappoint. My husband and I were needing some updated professional photos. Ryan and Maggie gave good advice as to the best day and time for the pictures. We were at the beach, where there is always wind to contend with. As Ryan did the photo shoot, Maggie stayed close by to position us and to keep our hair and smiles in check. Having our pictures made was actually a fun experience. A few months earlier they photographed our baby grandson. The pictures are gorgeous and such a treasure. I wish I could give them ten stars!
