G’s Famous Lemon Cookies

This place has awesome treats and food! The tortellini and sausage soup is incredible! Love the cookies and scones as well!

Quality service , accommodating to our dietary needs ( GF ). As well as having a fantastic variety of selections in a casual diner feel.

This will be my second “Shut the door” in a week! You wanna talk about lighting up your tastebuds then this is the place with Regina and her Lemon Cookies. You gotta come off the interstate and try one of these. Absolutely in my Top 3 cookies I’ve ever eaten.

My daughter and I are from NJ and were traveling back down from Burly, VT after the GAI waterfront concert last weekend. We shad booked overnight in amsterdam at the castle hotel nearby on Saturday night as a place to stay before we headed to Hobart book village on our way home on Sunday. On Sunday morning my daughter found G's for us for breakfast. It was quite the experience. The food was delicious and the homemade breads used in my breakfast sandwich and my daughter's GF breakfast pizza were amazing! And the coffee was delicious and just right.
But the people were the highlight. The owner and her husband, a local teacher, were so kind and friendly and so were the locals, who kept streaming in and out for their am pastries and coffee. We met some really nice folks and left with a full homemade delicious meal in our bellies that carried us through the entire day.

I don't know if I would go back to Amsterdam NY for the "castle" (for over $300 per night it was OK and offered no sit down breakfast there for guests) but if I'm ever within an hour of the area again soon, I will definitely find my way to G's!!!

This place is awesome. They offer a lot more than just the lemon cookies. Their scones are just incredibly delicious .

Been coming here for cookies, scones, and an assortment of other baked goodies for years now. I always enjoy the assortment of flavors they offer for their cookies, and if you're looking for an office treat to share with your coworkers you need not look any further than a platter or two of the basic lemon cookies with and without sprinkles. G's has very reasonable prices for all their treats, and I always feel like I'm making out like a bandit when I stop by to just buy a couple cookies but end up with a bag or two of extra stuff that enticed me. Highly recommended to everyone!

Coffee is Best.on Erie Canal from Amsterdam to Albany.
No, seriously, I tried and G’s is the best! Lavazza is nicely ground, pressed and ripped. Still working on perfecting Flat Whites but everything else is legit.
Why doesn’t google search show this place on the map for coffee????

Cheesecake sampler I ordered for Christmas, order and pickup with seamless... The cheesecake was to die for so many types to choose from raspberry swirl, peanut butter, snicker doodle, Snickers Bar,.Oreo, plain each one was just so tasty

Today was my first visit. Got macaroons and a biscotti. Fabulous! Probably the best macarons I’ve ever had, which is saying A LOT! I will be back next time I’m anywhere near Amsterdam. Well worth the trip !

GREAT shop serving so much more than delicious cookies! Coffee, muffins, soups - all are excellent. A local restaurant, easy parking, crazy clean interior, and a great experience. A+++!!!

We stopt here on our travels this summer because we are from Amsterdam Europe and just had to see the town. How lucky we were to find this friendly bakeryshop that serves great coffee and delicious cookies!

Found this place by accident looking for breakfast. They have breakfast pizza. The small was huge and my wife and I could not finish it. It was fantastic. Highly recommend.
