The Bean of Ave Maria

Every visit to friends in Ave Maria from Venice Florida I make a stop in at The Bean. One of the best breakfast spots around SWFL. I’ve had it two times with the amazing service of Maria. Hands down the best bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel with hash Browns. Very fast service with a smile , the staff and place are amazing. If you’re not familiar with The Pub at Ave Maria, please stop in. They own the pub, great family restaurant and also The Bean, which is a breakfast brunch location. Love its family owned, great service, great staff, great food, and great prices.

Great stop for some drinks an/ or food. My husband and I just had drinks and both were very good. We had an iced tea and a smoothie. They also have a cafe menu, ice cream, additional drinks, and indoor/outdoor seating.

My wife enjoyed a late Sunday breakfast/brunch at this crowded oasis. The omelets were delicious and we had excellent service p. Ave Maria is an interesting village and The Bean provides a great coffee (and more) experience

My husband and I, first time in Ave Maria.
We went for a breakfast and just absolutely delightfully.
We had chorizo scrambled eggs and omelette, so delicious and so well cooked, lots of flavor.
Maria, our server, amazing woman, so kind, helpful, professional, very impressed with her service.
Maria even thank us to our visit which we don’t hear that anymore, very rare.

I sat outside, got to pet someone's dog. Waitress was very nice and friendly. I had a ham and egg sandwich and potatoes. Very good. Fast service. Parked on the street around the corner.

We love going to the Bean when we visit town! The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. I feel like the prices are very reasonable as well!

Just thinking about eating here makes my mouth water. Traveling here with a party of 6 and we all gorged. The atmosphere is like that of a coffee shop and the food is very good. Can't wait to return.

Great destination for my motorcycle group. Food is good and the portions will not leave you hungry. Ave Maria does not have a lot of dining options so you may have a wait, especially in season. The staff are pleasant.

Cute coffee shop and restaurant. The wait was a bit long but they were busy. We were not in a hurry so decided to enjoy the view and ambience. Frappe and food was great and staff was pleasant.

Awesome! My son took me here and recommended the breakfast burrito. He is right. It is delicious-- but we agree it would be even more delicious with some sausage gravy. It's an idea. I also had a cappuccino and it was excellent. The atmosphere is an enjoyable café experience. There is also covered seating outside. I do recommend The Bean for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The giant cathedral across the street and the architecture of the various shops create beautiful scenery to enjoy as you eat.

It's tough to get to in the sense that it's a LONG drive from any main highway or road. The food was DELICIOUS, and their servings are beyond generous. Cute little place in a cute little shopping area. Definitely worth the out of the way drive.

My girlfriend and I have just started coming here for breakfast the past few months and our experiences have been great.
We've only been eating outside, patio, so we're looking out into Ave Maria and the church.
The servers have been attentive. The food is good.
Sometimes, the cook doesn't follow our instructions perfectly (i.e. we tell the server we like our fried eggs runny, and we get the eggs over-cooked a little, or the bacon strips need to be really crunchy and overcooked, but they come out limp and non-crunchy)
