Had an alternator failure in the RV10 and diverted to KSOW. Pulled into Kokopelli Flying Service and was warmly greeted! These guy are good, hard working patriotic Americans! Had me going in a few hours but was too late to make it over the mountains before dark. Offered the “airport truck” and good dinner suggestions. Let me bunk overnight upstairs in the hangar so I could get an early start the next day.
They do 411 and 413 checks too and will travel to nearby airports if your transponder is due.
Can’t say enough good things about this crew.

Brent Meyer is the most dangerous AI I have ever met. He signs off on work that was never done and heals my plane hostage till I paid for work that I had already paid for. He lost my motor mounts and heals my plane for over a year. When I found out he was a dishonest, I had another A&P finish his work and check the work that was supposedly done. We found that he had not done over 50% of the work. I was under the impression that he lost his license until s few days ago. Having found him still in business, I spoke to the airport manager about this dangerous A&P and found that he is not allowed to work for profit at Showlow. They have received numerous complaints and do not recommend Kokopelli Flying service any longer. I will be filling a FAA complaint and a lawsuit against him and his company. He is going to get someone killed with his dishonest practices.
