Taylorsville Water Company does a great job. Water is great and the folks who answer the phone are always polite on the very rare occasions that I need to call them. Sure, they aren't up to date with tech, but the autodraft always works and I never really have to think about having water. Love the hometown feel and service.

3rd home I've owned and the lowest water pressure we've had in a home. I just called to ask about it and they are extremely friendly and willing to help. They put a work order in to see what they can do!

When will the water company start to have online payment options? How long does the water company keep the initial deposit? We have been customers since 2001 and the company is still holding my deposit. I'd like to make a little interest on it too.....

If I had it my way they shouldn’t be In business. People are rude. They claim they can’t take payments, and they left my grandmother with no water for two days after it was paid….. investigation should definitely happen with these people or get new staff.

This is the absolute worst water company I have ever seen. They will steal your money, "lose" your payments, shut off your water even when you have paid your bill and still charge you to come take the lock off(even when they admit it was their mistake). On top of that they will make-up more charges and do not give your deposit back.

I bought a house in jeffersontown 9 months ago... i just today received my very first water bill.
It took me forever to realize that even though I live in Jtown, inside Jefferson county...my water is from the city of Taylorsville.
I may have realized this faster if not for the fact that I called them, and they told me it was not them that serviced my address, and to check with the louisville water company.
( they were also equally clueless and a pain to deal with)
Anyhow, my first bill has finally arrived.
Is this a joke? It's a perforated post card with spelling errors. The billing code listed isn't shown in their billing key, so what exactly am I being charged for?

Also, their only payment options are to drive 25minutes to their office, or to mail them a check? Since they are only open after I go to work, and close before I get off work, in-person payments won't work. I guess I could order checks, buy envelopes, stamps, and pens... but the year 2000 called, they say it's ok to use a little bit of technology.

Seriously, if this wasn't a municipal company the free market would have driven them under. It appears they only survive by draining people of late fees because they can't be bothered to actually send a bill, yet their printed bill is the only thing making it possible to actually pay them.

Taylorsville water..... do better.

This place SUCKS.. you forget one time in 7 years of having service with them to pay on time and they quickly disconnect you, when you call them after hours for reconnection they are rude, and then they want to charge me 160$ to reconnect my service, all over a 34$ bill, they have no online bill pay, you have to sign up for auto draft or call them monthly and deal with rudeness.. frustrating is an understatement.. I’d give it zero stars if I could..

I've been a customer for over 8 years. Never missed a payment. One month my payment was 2 WEEKS late. They shut off the water. Seriously. 2 weeks. I had to pay a reconnect fee of $90 for a $45 bill. And you can't even pay your bill online, which is a bit ridiculous this day and age. Too bad there is no other option for this utility.

Why is it so difficult to pay my water bill online? Every month the URL expires and I have to find a new link to connect to the billing system. UPGRADE THE WATER COMPANY'S WEBSITE!

We've been a (forced) customer for 5 years. We seem to only get the RED late notices that threaten to have the water cut off. I pay more of the late fee notices than I do the "non-late" bill. It sure would be nice to get an electronic statement in instead of snail mail where I may or may not get the paper bill. Guess it just works out for them. Funny how that works.

I never get any discounts on Bill! It seems my water is shut off once, twice year, then purge pipes get up to shower to get ready for work an no or just trickle and get no notifications that going to do, fire department practices and makes pressure go real low. Got bill saying used 22,000 gallons water which didn’t no leak either but giving me the run around guess I need to get U.W.A legal services involved!!!!!

For the past several years, I drive down to the water dept., to pay my water bill on or before the 25th of every month. Because the mail or water dept can't seem to get the check to the water dept. My bill was due on 7/25/17, which I did not receive. On Friday 7/28/17, after work, after 5pm, we get the mail to find a cut off notice, complete with late charges and ripped from the use of the postage machine we assume. You can't get the bill to me and no grace period. Has there been a mistake? Just a cut off notice due before the 6th of August. So frustrated.

Should have more options to pay bill such as pay online without a service charge. Not everyone has checks anymore since virtual banks are better options for the working class.

Looks like I’m just posting about the same topic. We’ve been here for four years and never missed a payment or been late and we failed to receive a bill however we’re sent a cut off notice with a late fee attached. This is ridiculous. Set up online payments and end this nonsense.

Can y'all get your automatic payments and such together please?! This is ridiculous! 2nd month in a row I'm sure that I paid my bill, and I'm now sitting without water AGAIN... THIS IS TOTAL ABSURD!!!

With all the technology in this world, why doesn't the water company take a credit/debit card or have online bill pay??
