Always clean and shelves are fully stocked and amazing staff

One of the cleanest and best organized Dollar Generals I’ve ever been in. They regularly get new home decor arrivals and keep their displays up to date. This store opened during the snow in 2021 and took cash for non-perishable food items. That alone makes this store 5 stars for me. Many of us were stuck out here with ice on all roads leading in and out. Being able to get enough food and water to get by was critical.

I would like to say how much I love Dollar General stores for my quick convenient needs, but unfortunately I go in with a certain lowered expectation of quality service. Today changed my perspective.

I was shopping around and started looking for the greeting cards section. Almost immediately someone asked if I needed help and then went and grabbed a basket for me to put my 6 items I barely held with my hands. She guided me to the card isle and told me to have a great day. This experience is what customer service was all about. I pass several dollar stores on my way home, but this one will now be my only one.

The persons name was Tabatha and she works at the 3100 Windy Hill Road in Buda, TX (78610) location. I made sure to go back in the store and ask for her name. So many people tend to report only the negative experiences and forget to share the wonderful ones.

Please do anything you can to tell her what a great asset she is to the store. If you need my transaction number for proof of my visit let me know.

Always have what i need when in a pinch. Easy to run to Dollar General and be home in 10 minutes than driving to Walmart. Also can get just about anything you need for a buck when times are tough. They have added a home goods department and its actually a great place to get pictures frames and other decorations for cheap.

Thanks so much for been open great people I know sometimes is not enough employees but not just for that I will give you less start thanks to the two employees that make it happen to be open, even if it was one employee I will give them 5 starts. Store was clean and cashier was very friendly. I grabbed an item with no bar code placed in a 70% clearance spot and it wasn't suppose to be there. He was so nice and wanted to help but did let me know it was not supposed to be there. He tried to help but the fact he was so nice meant more then losing out on a cheap item

It's really spacious and clean. Unlike other locations where it feels cramped, I felt like I could breathe. The restrooms are in a good location of the store, not in some obscure location where only employees are allowed. They are in the front of the store.

All I know is that the manager TABITHA is a wonderful woman. She opened the store for us during the WORST SNOW STORM in history. There was a line around the building and she took care of them all. Applause goes out to her staff as well.

Nice. Clean. Well organized & friendly staff. Love that it's so close. Now if they'd only fix the drive....how can it be crumbled up already it's not even a year old?!

I am disabled. I called and asked the employee if she would get crackers and 2 other things and keep them at the register so I could come get them and she said sure!! I can’t stand very long or walk very far because I have 3 things wrong with my back. I got there and they checked me out right away so I could make it to my car before my back went out. I was so very thankful to the young lady for helping me that day. So kudos to Dollar General employees in Buda, Texas on Windy Hill Road!!!

This DG is kept so stocked, organized and clean. The manager always goes out of her way to speak to me when she sees me. I've been in many DG and this one is the best.

I love that this store is right in the neighborhood and has just about everything you could possibly need... No need to go all the way into town to shop. This is also one of the nicest dollar Generals I've ever seen.

This location seems well managed and stocked. Tabitha is soooo kind to her customers! Great customer service really makes a difference.

DG has great prices I'm never disappointed except when the cashier doesn't know what their doing or answer a simple question!!!!!!!

Dollar General has all kinds of neat gadgets for acryllic painting. I brought home lots of goodies.

I didn't have to get feed back from employees. There good. Do there job.
