A Coastal Lock-n-Key

Short trip to the coast to crab and clam and a little unwinding and…it hasn’t been the most relaxing trip, as it’s been one thing after the next…but with every unfortunate turn, we’ve met some great people along the way. Thank you for being one of the good parts of our trip, and taking care of us! Great, friendly, and quick service. Mike was wonderful. You are so appreciated!!! Happy Holidays. Cool shop too.

I’m sure all the workers here are exceptional but I want to specifically Thank Mike for opening my truck tool box. He was very understanding and reliable even when he was busy EVERYWHERE. It’s hard to find honest and reputable people and they definable come through.

Great service and communication. I was on vacation and locked my keys in the car, and they were there to help. Not only was it very affordable but they also made me a spare key, right there on the spot. Absolutely one of the best locksmith experiences I’ve had. I lost my keys to my friends borrowed car and had to have a new one made.

The car wouldn't start and we couldn't determine exactly why and suspected it might have been the key fob, but Mike came out on time and got it started very quickly and was very nice and friendly. He even helped to fix my friends necklace before he left. Very nice, great service, would recommend!!!

Me and my friend drove from Yakima to Oregon to go to cannon beach. I made a dumb decision and got my key fob wet in the ocean. Once we were ready to leave my keys no longer worked all I could do was open the door but sadly the alarm would come on for a few minutes. I was getting stressed out on how I was going to get home!!!!! so I decided to call this locksmith, and he was SO NICE! he said “hey just tell me we’re you are and I’ll make you another key so you guys can leave it’ll just take like 10 mins. he was driving a long distance and got to us so FAST!! not kidding lol. me and my friend thought he was really cool. He told us the price he was wanting to do the job and said he’ll make a EXTRA KEY for me for one price. He got the key working for my car in 10 mins and next thing you know we were able to leave. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! I say that because I called other locksmiths around the Oregon area and they didn’t even act like they cared just rather do a troubleshoot over the phone instead….

The owner of the company came to help me get into a house for a dog sitting job. Throughout the process he was very kind and even offered up some advice on getting in before coming out to help, even though that could have meant him not getting my business. He gave me a follow up call a short time later, I had finally gotten in touch with the homes owner and it turned out I had been left the incorrect key. After getting a picture of the correct key, he was able to create a replacement and I was able to get in. Very affordable and fantastic customer service. A Coastal Lock and Key really saved the day and I’ll be using their services again next time I get locked out!

I was locked out of car and called AAA. The towing company was unable to unlock vehicle, being its a complex security system in a Lexus! I had given up and was contemplating knocking a window out to gain access. The tow truck driver said, "I know a guy", and insisted I wait to destroy my rear car window. Well that guy was, Mike. Mike was knowledgeable and knew exactly what we were dealing with on this make and model. He managed to gain access and took care not to damage the door trim paint. Very professional company!

I broke a key off inside a stiff deadbolt lock on Saturday morning, followed by the feeling of “oh sh.t, there goes our Saturday! A Coastal answered the phone immediately, told me where he was and commitments he already had, and estimated his arrival. Sure enough, texted when he was on his way. He then opened the deadbolt lock immediately and spent nearly two hours fixing the original installation (we’d already had a different locksmith out twice to make it work.) A Coastal is AMAZING! Responsive, knowledgable, and determined. The lock now works smoothly, like it never had before. So thankful for a real pro.

Amazing service!! I locked my keys in the trunk and Mike was extremely fast and efficient. No damage to my car when getting in and even gave me a spare since my original key was not carved right. Definitely saved our day at the beach and made everything so stress free! Thank you!!

Very grateful and impressed with using this company. The locksmith found the issue with my ignition and it was more than just needing a new key. He ordered the parts and installed it for me. Great guy, great service! My husband used Mike a while back to get into my Honda to make a new ignition key because I left State and took my keys with me and hubby couldn't move the car. This time, I purchased a used vehicle and Mike helped me figure out that I needed 2 keys made as duplicates because someone before changed the lock cylinder. He told me to come back and he can make all the keys fit the new egnition ❤ Killer prices, people just don't get any better than this guy! Highly recommend!
