We went herefor lunch today- the lady behind the counter (God bless her) was very patient with my scatterbrained order. 😄 We got the Chicken Dinner w/ Onion Rings, and a 6-piece side of Jo Jo Potatoes. Let me tell you... FRIGGIN AWESOME CHICKEN!!! ..and the onion rings??? Holy moly!! Perfectly cooked with GREAT flavor! The Jo Jo potatoes were delicious, potatoey, and HOT!! I mean... look what it did to the fork! 😄 All our food was served hot; we couldn't have asked for a better lunch experience!!

Phoned in a take-out order. Greeted immediately, and the food was hot and ready. We had the chicken n chips, which is a family favorite. It's fried food, so it's not great for you, but it is tasty. One note: they need a ramp to the entrance as there is an odd step out of the entrance and I watched 2 folks almost face plant. Seems like a liability with an easy fix. Still, I recommend those chicken n chips!

Ok last update unless I ever have a bad experience, which at this point I do not foresee a bad experience whatsoever. But Uncle J's is already so far into the positive with me it wouldn't affect my appreciation in the slightest negative way. Another Saturday and yet another perfect Pizza and phenomenal Steak n' Cheese sub. There is no need to elaborate further on either if you just read my massive review below this massive new speech. For what it's worth to any other "Massholes" (lol) that have moved up here, I grew up in metro Boston and spent decades eating all over the North End, Somerville, Medford, Everett, Revere, etc. some of the best Delis, Pizzas, and Super Beefs (Soopa Beefs) there are to offer down them parts, and when I tell you Uncle Joey's is the best place I've found in southern NH in the past 20 years I've lived here I mean that with sincerity. That also includes living in the greater Nashua NH area for over a decade. You can take this entire review for what it's worth for as long as it is posted this way. This is getting crazy and Google is going to shut me down, haha. Enjoy!

Yet another positive update 'after' my initial review and updates below. We are going on months now. I added a picture of my 'Uncle Joey' Pizza (Roasted Red Pepper, Meatball, add onion, add ricotta cheese) and my 'Crispy Chicken' Salad (note how they serve the hot crispy chicken on the side, perfect). These are both from today (Saturday). I challenge any local establishment to make a better tasting and robust topping pizza. You can't, you won't, and you refuse to try (not that I'm coming to waste money with you again anyway). I didn't even want to eat this pizza and disturb it's delicate beauty, look at it! But holy cow was it phenomenal (every single time). Look at that fresh salad even without the chicken on it yet. And guess what, the cashier (who is always 100% pleasant and sincere) was taking a phone order and the chef came right out so I didn't wait "What can I help you with sir?". This place is just the best. It's totally apparent they are a tight family (not pieced together like they are doing a chore in being there) that has been in the food game for some time and knows what's up. Respect.

PROS: Most importantly the FOOD is always delicious, they know exactly how to make everything I've ordered thus far. In addition to that the service is always great, any special requests via online ordering are always read and executed without fail whether it's topping/ingredient related or packaging related. I recommend Uncle Joeys for these reasons. I keep going back and I love the food. The 'Super Beef' is amazing, the Steak and Cheese is amazing, and the Pizza is the best in a 5-10 mile radius 'at least', the crust is on point and the sauce is well prepared (no heartburn). The inside of the restaurant is clean, inviting, just dark enough to be relaxing, a comforting welcoming place to sit and eat any season of the year.

CONS: Happily updated! Thank you Uncle Joey's for listening to your customers and reviews. We are blown away. I'm trying to bring more business your way you really deserve it. I work in a facility with 300+ employees and word is spreading. Uncle Joey for the all time win! LFG!

SUMMARY: I recommend Uncle Joeys to everyone, you will love both the food and the service. This is the first post Covid establishment I've seen making an honest dedicated effort to rebuild quality take out and customer service at levels not seen for quite some time. I have nothing but great things to say.

Today's lunch (yep 2 days in a row) I would post a picture of my beautiful 'Uncle Joey Pizza' with Ricotta but it disappeared. So freakin' good! Edit: I eventually added a picture of the Uncle Joey's Pizza in a newer review above.

Great pizza and food. We usually eat in. The place is always clean and the people are super friendly.

Some of the best chicken tenders and Jojo potatos. Have not had these in years tastes the same as the did when I ordered them when they were Chicken and Chips in Nashua

First time trying this place, I ordered takeout. Pizza was done on time and was delicious, thin but chewy handmade crust with not too much cheese and a nice tomato sauce with just a bit of sweetness to it. Onion ring appetizer was massive and tasty. The parking lot was tough to get out onto the main road from but otherwise everything else was great.The woman who took my order was friendly and the service prompt, give this place a try.

Incredible food and great atmosphere. Huge portions for a great price. I will definitely be going back! Great for families especially with kids - a lot of family style menu options.

Pizza perfection!

As a native New Yorker, I typically laugh at a New England pizza parlor claiming to be NY style. Needless to say, this blows me away. The pizza is absolutely amazing. Awesome thin and crispy crust. Perfect zesty sauce full of Italian herb flavor. Could use a bit more cheese but ordering extra cheese is perfect.

By far, not only the best pizza place in Merrimack, but the best pizza place north of Long Island. As I work from home, being a three minute walk away from my door to theirs, is going to be dangerous come summer time!

Edited for an update on 5.25.2033. I can assure you that my initial review was not just grand opening luck. After a couple months, their food has getting even better! Absolutely love this place!!!!

Wow, the chicken stix dinner is simply phenomenal. The jojos are perfect, I get them for pick up so they get a little softer, because their initally very crispy. The pizza is very good too, and I'll certainly be back.

The pizza was outstanding, (NY style in NH!!!) Chicken tenders were freaking phenomenal & the onion rings were massive. Will definitely be going back!

This place is a dream and off the beaten path. It's worth the effort to get there.

My first time here. This pizza was so delicious. Great service. I can't wait to go back to try other things on the menu.

went here for the first time with our two year old twins after a day at the trampoline park.. the guy at the front who greeted and took our order was amazing!! so friendly.. even put mickey mouse on the tv for my kids so my husband and I could eat in peace! We didn’t even ask him! he was so nice and kept checking on us and our food came out amazing and fast! 10/10. will definitely be back here. Thank you guys for an awesome lunch!

This is the "chicken n chips" recipe and they've captured it to a tee. We'll be back

Staff is extremely welcoming. Food is very good. I've personally am addicted to the chicken bomb sandwich....the bread 🤯 so fresh and delish, can't help to eat it. Trying to limit carbs and normally I don't eat bread but I just can't resist.
Newer pizza/sandwich restaurant, I recommend going to there to place & wait for your order as it can be difficult to reach by phone but other than that I wish Uncle Joey's much success and hope they'll be around for a long time.
Staff is fantastic, like coming into a friend's home for dinner. 👍

Awesome food. Got the family meal, a small cheese pizza, and some jo Jo's. The family loved it. The lady at the counter was very friendly and my order was nice and hot. That was my first time there. It won't be my last. I will be trying the subs next. I recommend that everyone go here.

Great Roast Beef subs, I wish they had Turkey though. The sub rolls are similar to Parisian bread!

I'm picky when it comes to chicken but they knocked it out of the park. I only had the wings this time but I can't wait to try other menu items!

Waitstaff was very knowledgeable and helpful! The 2 pizzas tasted great!! Will be back for sure! A+++

Incredible pizza. If you're looking for a NY style or beach style pizza, this is the place. Only thing was there was a little too much crust on the small pizza. The other, best thing about this place is that it is Chicken n Chips stix for tenders! Great atmosphere as well. 9/10
