Reidsville Water Department

Today Monday..Jan. 22, 2024, I want to compliment ALL those who came out to dig a HUGE hole and repair a broken water line in our cul-de-sac. They all could not have been more professional and informant on what they were doing and about how long it would take. It was cold and they all got so muddy...but what professionalism. JOB WELL DONE! So proud of our Reidsville Water Department!

Billing and accounting Department do not understand accounting principles. Denise a staff member, does her billing applicable to only herself not to residents. I was charged a late fee when I have recurring drafts enabled. Denise told me it was my fault that I got charged a late fee. Because I elected to have my bill drafted on the 1st and she does not do billing until the 2nd. My bill amount is only $50, and the late fee amount is $40. This department is all about charging you a late fee so beware. The city water department needs new management and a reduction of fees, and maybe a better understanding of how recurring drafts work. Very disappointed, however if the city needs money that bad! Keep it, pay those employees!

Today is is December 23 and I live on Thomas st. Today our trash should have picked up. Due to high wind my trash can was blown over so was half the street. Instead of picking up our garage they left our trash cans 🤬 knowing that this weekend is Christmas.!!!! As mush as we pay this should NOT BE A ISSUE IF THE TRASH CAN IS AT THE ROAD. REIDSVILLE DO BETTER BY YOUR PEOPLE IT'S HARD ENOUGH WITH THINGS GOING UP ALL THE TIME . If the guys don't like the job there doing FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 WHAT DO I DO WITH ALL THIS TRASH?
