Great team!
It’s difficult to find someone knowledgeable and trustworthy- especially one that specializes in diesels but Ray’s is great.
I’ve had my dodge ram in twice now, and although not the cheapest, you get what you pay for. I leave confident that my repairs have been made correctly and that Ray’s will be standing behind the work.

Customer for life..

This is hands down the best shop that I have ever been to, My truck was losings power and cutting out. I took it to a couple of shops, the first one couldn't figure it out, The second one immediately referred me to Ray's, once I got there Mark plugged the truck in and had an answer in just a few min. He explained everything to me and then work their magic. The truck is running prefect again, These guy are all ASE certified, and very knowledgeable. If you have any issues with your car or truck bring them here. They treat you really well and their prices are fair. Just a small note when I was there they were working with a lady that was in front of me and listening to the way they took care of her was very impressive, They treated her will respect and didn't try and sell her a bunch stuff that wasn't needed. Ladies if you need a good trustworthy shop, Here it is!!!!

I brought my 1989 bmw e30 “Abby” in for a new steering rack. The old girl gave up the old one with a lot of kicking and screaming. Mark took the time to make sure the car was done correct. she had issues and they solved them. He must know how to speak some German. Fast and at a great price. The new rack cuts like butter smooth driving. Thank you again

Mark at Rays made this the most painless and easiest experience with getting a vehicle up and running again, and actually seemed to care!! I’d recommend this place any day and will be going here for all routine care on my Duramax! Thanks for the quick and awesome service!!

I was at a gas station and my car was smoking, I was trying to see if I could fix what I thought the problem was, looking lost I. Sure mark saw me struggling and came to help me. He saw there was a few things wrong with it and told me to bring it into the shop, I did, and that was probably the best desition I've ever made for my car. Not only did he find that there was a much bigger issue, they provided me with a live receipt of sorts that let me approve or or choose not to approve the work that they found that needed to be done. As someone who doesn't know much about cars and has a tight budget it's helpful. not only was the service great, but everyone I came in contact with was great, and kind. Go to Ray's deisel and automotive for any car issues you may have.

Traveling over the holidays and had a sensor go out in the truck. These guys were great getting us in at the last minute and back on the road in less than 24 hours. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

I purchased a 2009 f350 in January and have had quite a few repairs in 6 short months of owning it but Mark has been awesome every step of the way. They have gone above and beyond on many occasions including the last. I had an unfortunate incident(I owe them all dinner😂) that they fixed that led to needing a new radiator at 2pm on a Thursday…I was leaving for a trip and needed that truck the next morning. Needless to say they had my truck done, gave me a quick mechanic lesson, made sure I had what I needed in case I ran into any problems and triple checked everything to make sure my daughter and I weren’t stranded on the side of the road! The time, effort and care that went into it did not go unnoticed and I’m forever thankful. Truck ran fantastic and we made the 10 hr trip each way without a problem! They literally saved the day…you don’t find this type of service anymore! Highly recommend!

The first time I called Rays and talked to Mark, I was having issues with my AC not working intermittently in my 7.3L diesel F250. I explained that I had narrowed it down to one sensor, but it was my understanding that I needed a shop to vacuum the AC system so I could install the part before having it re-charged. Mark was kind enough to inform me that there was no need. The sensor screws onto a Schrader valve so no refrigerant will be lost. Sure enough I was able to do the simple job myself. They earned my business that day and I have had them look after my old 7.3L power stroke a few times now. If you’re looking for a good diesel shop, this place is it.

I am beyond excited to have my car back!!! This shop has helped me a handful of times when I made the mistake of taking it elsewhere…I took it to a very highly rated shop near my house & they were VERY friendly, but unfortunately besides them hating working on a Range Rover, they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. They would diagnose it and I would wait and pay only to get it back still with warning lights and driving terribly. They finally quoted me $4k to replace something & I decided to take it back to Ray’s and see what they said. Mark is awesome. He figured it out and it was under $2k. After not having a car the last 2 months, it’s great to have it back and running so well! I’m just so relieved and think their team did a great job. The other time I used Ray’s was after taking it to the dealership 🤑 so I found the shop online and they gave me a quote way below dealerships. Fully recommend this shop, except I don’t want too many people using them as they already are very busy!

Ray's Auto is magnificent!! Matt spoke to me honestly, answering questions, and listening to what I had to say. I had gotten three quotes for the work my Kia needed ranging from $2,300 to $1,500 just for servicing the transmission and changing the oil. Ray's did it for $1,200 AND resurfaced my headlights, fixed a tail light, and something I've forgotten! They always kept me in the loop. I knew what was going on the entire time. They are absolutely amazing.

Ray’s Diesel is THE only place I will take my cars and pickups! I used to own a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 and it needed NOX sensors. Mark (He is the man behind the machine, AWESOME Guy) quoted me at 5 hours labor. 2 1/2 hours later he called and said my pickup was ready. He immediately returned 2 1/2 hours labor back on my card! I love the honesty. I brought it in for all of the oil changes and not once did he tell me I needed anything. It only had 48,000 miles so I expected that but his honesty is greatly appreciated! Then I bought a 2008 Chevy Silverado with 157,000 miles on it and I brought it to him to to do my oil changes, fuel filter, coolant flush and trans flush and filter. He once again was so honest and told me that the trans fluid was bright and didn’t need changed but they replaced the filters. His prices are great, all ASE certified techs who are great, and He as the owner personally goes through and does the third and final inspection. Can’t say enough about this place! Go to Rays across from Home Depot in Nampa!

I originally took my 2015 F350 6.7 to a very popular diesel shop in Meridian. They kept my truck for 9 days to diagnose the problem. When I was told 2 days to just look at it. This was Horrible, then they came back with a $3000 dollar repair on the def and egr system. And that was just to start. cause it might not fix it he said. Ouch!! I said I'll bring it back when I get the money. I truly felt something was not right unfortunately i felt like i was being scammed

I called Mark at Ray's and he said bring it now let's look at it now.. No 9 days later just to look at it. Lol.. I went ahead and took it to Ray's Diesel automotive for a second opinion. Mark at Rays said we need to break this down slowly and see where the problem is, not just throw a bunch of parts at it..that right there told me a lot about this shop and Mark. I truly think he cares about the service they provide. Long story short, my truck was showing on the computer that it was 113% a clogged system. this is really bad. 1 air filter 1 or 2 force regen plus top off the coolant for egr valve. Mark said, "Come back in a week, and let's look at it again."Mark did another forced regen and said come back again in a week. Come to find out, the aftermarket air filter was causing some back pressure into the egr valve and causing the problem. Mark said, "Please only use OEM filters or it could cause more serious problems.. i.Came back to the shop to hook the computer one more time. There was no engine light, and the computer said i was running perfectly.. The truck runs really strong now, stronger than I could ever remember. Everthing cost me $200 bucks. Not 3k. Mark at Rays saved me a boat load of money, just a overall great experience. totally recommend you going to Ray's for your repairs especially those technical ones. They just dont throw parts it like some shops do.
Best regards Jay Gomez

Ray's is the place to go for your repairs. They always go above and beyond, even for our Miata's that like to challenge them. Out of 6 cars only 1 has not been here, and that is only because it is kids project car and he is doing it all himself. Cannot recommend any other repair shop.

My car was losing power so I brought it in. Mark took a look at it and figured out that the spark plugs weren’t gapped right. He fixed it up and I was on my way in less than an hour. I’m glad my mom and sister recommended I take it to him because he was kind, honest and informative. They brought their cars in for tuneups and when they were quoted $400 by another place Ray’s only chargI’m heading to Washington tomorrow and I’m so grateful I’ll have a reliable car to get me there. I highly recommend Mark!

Great people, great work! They were very honest with me the whole time. This is one of the only places in the area that does a diagnosis for free. This isn't one of those 5 star reviews that planted. I had them work on my Volvo. They found a ton of codes. They minimized the cost for labor and bundled it all together. Foreign parts take a while to get so it took a while, but that was to be expected. They had my car up in running in no time. I took my wife's car there too and same thing--excellent service at a reasonable price, and honest in their dealings.

Mark and his team went above and beyond to get me back on the road quickly after my van broke down in their parking lot in 100 degree weather with kids in the tow. I recommend his shop to get your vehicle fixed. They were so kind even when my kids were being energetic. I am so grateful for their service. They helped me so much.

I have used Ray's for several repairs, for several different vehicles. Mark does all of my major repairs, and even a few minor repairs if I need him to. Always priced very fairly, and the service I receive is outstanding. Honest, knowledgeable, and courteous. Quality work, done in a timely manner. I will definitely continue to do business there, and would recommend them to others without a doubt.

One of primary work vehicles was having some trouble so I reached out to Ray's. They got us in quick and got the problem identified and taken care of quickly. So quick that we didn't end up having any real downtime with the truck which is huge for us. Everyone was kind and easy to work with and their online/text notification, update and billing process was extremely easy. Very thankful to everyone at Ray's for helping us out quickly, affordably, and doing it all with kindness.

If you want exceptional service bring your vehicle here. I fully appreciated their straightforward pricing, the quickness of their service, and their step by step explanation of the service being done on my motorhome. Their diagnostic was accurate and it fixed the problem, and they did not charge me for the diagnostic. After replacing my MAF sensor and spark plug coil, they drained off the extra quart of oil in my overfilled transmission, and fixed an intake leak which made an annoying whistle sound all for no extra charge. The owner Mark at Ray’s diesel and automotive went beyond the extra mile. I will recommend this company to all my friends.

My experience at Rays Diesel was great! I took my truck in for an oil leak that a different shop told me was going to cost me $2,500 to fix and Mark at Rays took the time to explain to me where the leak is coming from and how it would get fixed. It only cost me $500. Mark is the best, he explains everything and answered all of our questions. Thank you so much!!! I will always recommend this shop!!!
