Dai Loy Museum

This museum preserves several arrangements that represent what the gambling hall looked like at the height of life in the town of Locke. You can see the gambling tables and the rooms upstairs. Check out the bench by the entrance and the button on the side of the wall.

Old gambling den. Uneven floors and the ambiance is like back in its heydey. With cards on the table and the shady or dark lights that engulf the building.

This is an interesting little museum that used to be a gambling house for the Chinese immigrants that once populated the town. It's full of interesting stuff and was a fun little stop in town.

Very cool old museum that still has all the old stuff from when the place was in business. It was a chinese gambling hall from 1915. There is even a little room upstairs for watching the tables from above. Very cool to see, well worth the very small entrance fee. The couple bucks helps keep the town open and the rich history of Locke alive.

Small little historic area most of the places were closed on Friday but we were only able to check out the classroom that was open. If you plan on visiting check the hours first before coming here.
Make sure you don't drive down the wrong way on the one way street.
Careful not to wander off into private residential area.
worth a visit if you are interested in learning about the Chinese that lived here but make plans for afterwards since you won't be spending the whole day here.

Detour worthy for this place alone.

Very cool old gambling hall museum. Shows what the chinese town of Locke looked like when the chinese immigrants that built all the levees along the rivers and sloughs of the delta lived there. The whole town is cool to see.

Great slice of history. If you get a chance watch the ghost adventures program about locke. My wife heard some footsteps where no one was allowed.

I love attending there and ghost tours at night time it was fun. It small and nice old town. Great drinks there. They do Day time tours.
