This restaurant is simply one of a kind. Bob happily offered to alter his menu items to accommodate my non-dairy dietary needs, and we had the BEST steak sandwich, buffalo burger, and freshly made key lime pie. PLEASE do yourself a favour and stop here. Bob and Violet are wonderful humans, with great food and even better conversation!

The burger was a 10/10! Both the burger and fries were both seasoned very well. Bob was the star of my experience. Its not everyday you come across authentic kind humans, and he sure is one of them! This was an experience I will never forget. Until next time!

Food was so good, came here twice! This was best hamburger I’ve had in a long long time. Our food was fresh and delicious. Bob was great. Thanks for the good eats!

Where do I begin?
There are so many mixed feelings about this place but bottom line, Bob’s World Famous Buffalo Burger is just that, the absolute best.

I was traveling with some friends, and on our way out of Zion National Park we decided to try a local restaurant prior to heading out. We searched on Google and stumbled upon this gem. We liked the reviews and couldn’t wait to experience this buffalo burger everyone rants about.

When we arrived, shortly after 7pm, we noticed the outdoor space was somewhat run down. Having committed to the experience we decided to walk in anyways. Upon walking in, I was immediately with the feeling of concern and worry. The place is old and dusty, the “thrift”/art/vintage side of the store looked like an abandoned museum covered in dust but we stuck it out nonetheless.

We noticed some customer sitting down waiting for food in the restaurant portion and thought to ourselves, “well, they’re still alive so why not, let’s eat.”

We sat down and we’re very graciously greeted by Bob. He definitely gives off awkward creepy vibes but once you get past your own personal pre assumptions of him, he’s actually a nice guy.

We proceeded to order drinks and of course, we all ordered the World Famous Buffalo Burger. After all, this is what the world knows about this place.

Service was good, drinks came out fairly quick. As time proceeded we took a glance by the counter and realized there is only a team of 3 at work. I was very relieved to see everyone wearing gloves. Soon after, the burgers came out and to my surprise, Bob recommended we don’t “ruin the burger” by adding ketchup.

I was confused, at first I wondered “why is he recommending such an un-American thing to do like abstaining from adding such a paramount ingredient of American sauce goodness like ketchup which is very much part of the burger DNA makeup?” But, as he recommended, I obliged AND boy let me tell you it was worth it.

After taking the first bite, I was greeted by one of the most savory burgers I’ve ever had. The sweet tenderness of this wild, sweet grass fed local delicacy that is the Buffalo was unmatched by anything I’ve ever had. I remember thinking “Dear sweet baby son of Zeus, this is incredible.” The first bite was followed by the second and then the third. After finishing of the burger, I was overcome by a feeling of satiation and guilt for ever doubting this place.

All in all, this place can definitely use a good cleaning BUT, the service is good, the food is A+ and Bob is a decent guy. I recommend it and would definitely come again.

THE BEST BURGER AND THE BEST SERVICE!!!!! We are so happy we found this place, the owner was the coolest guy and the other chef working was so so sweet. When i say I’ve never had a burger with no cheese, I mean it, but Bob served me a literal PERFECT Buffalo burger, seasoned perfectly he would not let me put condiments and he was right it didn’t need anything extra!!!! I couldnt believe how good the burger was seriously. It was amazing. Whole place was great, unbeatable experience. And they make their own desserts all different types of pie

This place is literally a hidden gem. Tiny little cafe off the side the road behind a river tube rental place. The buffalo burger is probably one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life (and I like burgers a lot!) Fries are crispy and salty, just perfect! Key lime pie was delicious too. Don't worry about going home thirsty, they give you a freaking pint of whatever you're drinking!
The owner/cook/waiter/cashier/salesman was so awesome, fun guy and quite attentive for doing so much at one time! Seriously amazing and I can't wait to go back someday!

This place deserves its reputation as the best diner in Utah. The delicious and unique homemade food is cooked fresh by the amusing and warm-hearted chef and owner who told us not to add any seasoning, which we gladly obliged and were so happy that we listened to him. We ordered a veggie burger, a buffalo burger, a dish of liver and onions, a coconut pie and a peanut butter pie, all of which went straight into our stomachs and the chef happily collected empty plates after. He even gave us recommendations for restaurants to visit in Vegas and New Orleans because he used to work as a chef there. This amazing man works so diligently to take good care of his customers while managing his cool store with a large collection of inventory including exotic jerkys, vintage items, native American arts, garments and souvenirs. He's the cool uncle I never had. Bless his soul, we were so fortunate to have met him earlier this evening.

Stopped here on our way out of Zion. We both had the Buffalo Burger, I had a gluten free bun. It was delicious!!!! Definitely a lot of good food I didn’t have the chance to try his famous desserts. Bob is a great guy. Definitely try this place out!

One of the strangest and most delightful dining experiences I've had. Bob insisted on choosing our beer selection for us, and told me he'd shoot me if I put ketchup on the burger. 5 stars. Food was excellent, service was revolutionary. Bring your sense of humor.

If they are open, you must stop and eat here. Get the Buffalo burger. The most amazingly seasoned and most perfect burger I have ever eaten. Even my teenager who never finishes anything gobbled hers up. The wagyu burger was also fantastic and the key lime pie heavenly. Just eat here please. You will be so happy.

The food is simply amazing. The owner/chef, Bob, is an absolute blast to talk to, and the location...right on your way to, or from, Zion. It's perfect!!

You have to stop, and you definitely need to try his wagyu burger. Let me rephrase here; Bob's wagyu burger is easily the best burger I have had here in the west and it's probably the best I've had in my entire life (hard to really compare, you know?)

If you don't stop here and hang out with Bob for an hour or two, then you'd seriously be missing out and should probably question all your other life choices, just saying. ‍

We were in Zion for three days. We stopped here twice to eat. We have some picky eaters in our group, they both loved the Buffalo Burger. The homemade Key Lime Pie was one of the best I've ever had...and I'm a Key Lime Pie guy. The peanut butter

Best place to eat if you want some solid American food! Owner/cook is probably the funniest dude I’ve ever met! Probably my #1 favorite mom and pop place in southern Utah!

The buffalo and wagyu burgers were AMAZING! We have never had burgers this good. We missed taking a picture of the burgers since we wanted them in our bellies. Everything is made fresh which is hard to find, especially near a popular national park. We had pie for dessert which was equally amazing! We will definitely be back!!

Update: We came back two years later and it was equally delicious!! We will be back yet again!

This little local gem has gluten free options!
The best wagyu burger on a gluten free bun and has a separate fryer as well!
This made my experience better as I have gluten allergy.
Highly recommend for great food!

My bf and I saw this place when we were driving to Zion. The guy who welcomed us maybe the owner or manager was so welcoming! We ordered the ribeye steak with vegetables to share. We really appreciated that the food was halved for us on separate plates. The flavor was also something special, Very well charred steak and the Roasted vegetables was sweet, everything was very well seasoned. The manager recommended us a range of family-recipe pies, we opted for for a key lime pie. Honestly im not usually a big fan of dessert pies, but after having a taste of their key lime pie (which was fresh, light and just the right amount of sweetness) i was blown away by the texture of the filling and the pie crust. My bf ordered another pie, this time the peanut butter pie with reese topping. It was again really great! Slightly sweeter and heavier because of the reese on top. But the flavor was just the right amount of savory and sweet. We really recommend everyone to try their pies!

If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. We are always looking for a hole in the wall restaurant and this place is a home run. The owner is the funniest and nicest guy. All of the food is outstanding. Everything is made fresh upon ordering. Just make sure to call before coming because they’re not always open according to the hours online.
