Friendly and knowledgeable staff, huge super market with a large variety of products, from foods, drinks, healthy items to junk foods. Deli, frozen, dry foods, fruits, vegetables and so much more. Restrooms, large parking lot and disabled section for parking and electronic door. This store even has a Starbucks for your coffee enjoyment and swimming floats. Excellent

Of course this is a place to go to in the Lake Tahoe area to get your groceries! We are staying at a timeshare and had to get all the things we needed for the week. Safeway had it all!

Great supermarket with 24/7 availability.
We arrived late and most of the restaurants were already closed, at Safewave we found plenty of ready-to-eat dishes, which are very tasty.

Stopped in to buy a quick sandwich and fruit. Staff was very helpful, and cashier has free bags bc it's Nevada!

Grat store, very clean, lots of stock. Usually plenty of parking. There are a couple good restaurants in the complex.

Your standard Safeway. Clean, well-organized, pleasant workers. Prices are a little higher than your every day supermarket, but the produce isn't over-ripened, and the store isn't in shambles. Parking is easy and the store is open 24/7. Can't beat that.

Since Safeway isn't in Carson City anymore.

With the Raley's roof collapse, I am really glad we have the Safeway.

Great place to go especially for a bathroom break. I come this way every once in a while. Despite the prices of everything in the area this is one place often ignored. If you love the views consider becoming a local the area needs more growth. There is already enough tourism here.

Awesome place. Lots of amazing stuff. Food market inside with a Starbucks. On vacation, we got food, snacks, and souvenirs all in one place 😋 👌

We've been shopping at this Safeway for 7 years. Great pharmacy Great employees great checkers. Good deli prices are reasonable parking sometimes can be a pain. Wish they had a Safeway gas station there.

I never loved going to the grocery store until this safeway. It’s open 24 hrs, always have a ton of sales going on, and everyone is so personable.

Hidden gem I always enjoy my stroll thru when I do stop.

It’s so refreshing to get a smile and great service from workers at Lake Tahoe especially in summer. But I wanted to say “Thank you so much to Tamara” (who works in the bakery department at Safeway. She was so nice and friendly asking to help. And went out of her way to help (when she had so much work to stock in the morning). There should be more like you at Safeway.

Safeway in different cities or states have more variety of foods at a low cost... I recommend shopping at Safeway.... In lake Tahoe... I brought home 8.5lb of a pork roast for 10$.... Join the membership and save 100$$$ of dollars

The Safeway in S. Lake Tahoe is small, but well-stocked. They have CV19 protocol that includes masks & social-distancing. I don't think they wipe their carts, but there are wipes directly inside. Clean store and helpful employees.

These people are the nicest friendliest folks your ever meet. Store is clean, organized and stocked with everything we needed. Thank you.
