Dollar General

First time at this dollar General location. Friendly staff. Low on supplies due to lack of truckers. This has caused a major backup of multiple freight ships that are left sitting in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans waiting to dock for unloading. Not to mention the cargo being placed onto 18 wheelers for delivery.
But the staff works fast to keep the shelves stocked when deliveries do come.
The entire staff go above and beyond their jobs and always make me feel like an old friend instead of just a customer.

One of the better stores I've visited. Never have heard a smart attitude and have always been served with a smile. Not many of the stores are like this one. Have had a manager at one store yell at my son before for getting sick and puking a small amount on the floor on his way running for the door! He honestly just showed signs of sickness at that moment and couldn't help it! She followed him out the door yelling" you could have waited in your car!" My 6'2" 300lb retired Marine attitude kicked in and gave her my drill instructor "pep talk" with the point being how to properly address a sick child! Lol and other stores have set me up to address other situations that they were just not serving their customers with respect or to their fullest potential. The most common excuse which I will say is a lame one is the pay... I don't get paid enough to do that or deal with that. Unfortunate for them but they are the ones that accepted the job. Therefore are expected to do the job. What if we military vets ever decided that we didn't get paid enough to get shot at? Or defend our country's freedom from outside entities? And decided to perform our jobs with a sour and disgruntled attitude? People I do believe that we would be speaking a foreign language by now. That's what our youth that are growing up now have been missing from our teachings as the older wiser generation is failing to get through to them. The lifestyle that they take for granted came with a hefty painful price. Lives, blood, sweat, tears, families destroyed, mental illness are just some of the cost but so much can be learned from it, appreciation, self worth, to be proud to be in a country where you as an individual can change your life and the quality in which you live because you are free to do so, free to have your own voice and opinions, free to decide if we will remain free and it starts with you as an individual with your outlook of helping your fellow Americans with heart filled pride. Because there is a soldier buried somewhere out there that died believing in America having enough value to pay the ultimate price... Their life brothers and sisters. Next time you hear a lame excuse for unsatisfactory behavior, be it working, parenting, being a spouse, rebelious child or whatever it is that you know is deliberate. Remind them they stand on soil that they didn't earn the right to disrespect in such a way, that it's paid for by the soldier who gave it greater value worth giving their life for. In honor of our fallen lets keep it free of hatred and prejudice and spread positive behavior and make our country worth what that soldier value it as. We have the freedom to do just that. So no more excuses people. You must give effort to see results. It doesn't happen without all of us on the same page. God bless all of my American family!

Love this store. The one in town is nasty and.never stocked. This is why I drive a little farther. Store is very clean and always stocked. Girls are very sweet and helpful. If they dont have what I need they will order it for me.

Some Dollar Generals are great and some are terrible. Depends on management and employees. I go to only 2 and they are out of the way, but so much better than the one close to me.

Dollar general is a nice place to do small shopping and thee brand "clover Valley" is really in competition with walmarts "sure fine" brand i love the clover valley water from dallar general.

The dollars spent at The Dollar general Store are best deal around. Close to home.. Cashier always greets And thanks You.. Service with a smile.

I appreciate how convenient the Dollar general locations are near to where I live. The Dollar general has great service anf the employees are always courteous.

I didn't expect so many different things; it's a mini superstore! Very good deals on groceries and beer

Love shopping at dollar store but there's always a long line where you have to wait at the most 10 minutes to get checked out . Will always shop there anyway
