DLS Convenience Store

I noticed a lot of the reviews from several months ago were negative and they must have taken that into account because the place was in pretty good shape this morning. Everything generally felt clean, most of the machines were working, only a few out of order.

I went to use the large washer because I have a working set at home but my king sized comforter doesn't fit. Their largest washer (they have 2) was just big enough to fit my large bulky comforter. I can't imagine needing to clean anything much bigger but if you're looking for those huge industrial washers they don't have them here.

Price on the washer was 4.50 for the biggest, looked like 2.50 on the regular ones. About what I expected to pay. You really save money on the dryer though. Its .25/5 minutes so you can pick exactly how long you need and not waste money. Plus they're huge, you could probably fit 2 normal sized loads of laundry in there. My blanket was still pretty wet from the washer (to be expected it was really bulky and really filled the washer up), but it got done in the dryer on high heat in 35 minutes (turned the blanket halfway through because you know the outside gets dry while the inside stays wet), which is way faster than my dryer at home. So altogether 6.25 to wash and dry the comforter, probably would have been $40 to take it to the dry cleaner so I'm happy with that.

I will say though they had a working change machine but it was finicky. My bill almost got stuck in it because it was crinkly but I was able to fish it out. If you use their change machine make sure your bills are nice and crispy.

Great place good home cokced food good price

I've been using this laundromat pretty regularly for last the last few months due to the proximity to my house, but decided to no longer use them today since they are supposed to be here at 0400 and it's now 0745 and the doors are still locked.
The pros: convenient location, gas station next door, change machines have always worked for me, washers and dryers are fast, lint trap is accessible to verify clear, machines are inexpensive, uses quarters, other customers are friendly.
The cons: the place is kinda dirty, the toilet rarely works and never has soap in the dispenser to wash hands, sometimes they forget to turn on the AC, smells bad sometimes, machines are quite often dirty or broken, customers park adjacent to the door instead of in actual parking spots and smoke, doesn't hold hours that they have posted on Google, and have never seen an employee working there.

The convenience store isnt up to par. They could definitely try harder to clean and organize. Seemed well stocked to me. The store had a decent variety. Gas pumps need refreshing. I've had problems with pay at pump not working.

Cold in here some machines are out of order

I gave it two stars because the only thing it has going for it would be location. You can tell that the owners don’t care because there is always garbage on the ground right outside but that’s probably because trash cans are full. I’ve also almost been hit driving up two times now because the Old Wayneboro Road entrance is a mess. People try to avoid pot holes or can’t see painted lines on the ground and just drive wherever they see fit. This place has so much potential

I guess it does what you need it to as far as washing but the dryers are questionable and the place looks trashed

Waiting on a call back from the owner due to machines not being labeled properly when inoperable. My next step will be by other means because this laundry facility has taken my money on a number of occasions. Whether its 25cents of $20... I want my money returned.

Again I was over charged by this store. I went there today because traffic so it was easier than crossing over to my normal store. I was charged close to $9 if not a little more for an item called sleepwalker that's $4.99 at other stores, so a 24oz mountain dew and a pack of 2 pack sleep walker cost me almost $12. Last time I went there I was over charged the same way. I complained properly and still another employee did the same.

This place has to be under new management because it was NEVER filthy at 8 in morning. What few washers that are working need to be whipped down, floor needs sweeping and mopping and the trash is pouring out the trash cans. Last time coming here

I hate giving a (1) Star, however this place is probably in the middle of Bankruptcy. All of their prices are over priced, even for a convenience store. They stopped multiple things, landing scraping, stocking shelves, vital equipment inside the store is broken, and even another Customer in line, said the turnover rate of employees was once a week.
That spells, Vendors are not getting paid, employees are not getting paid = Bankruptcy.

This place is run down and disgusting. The laundry matt is a mess. The car wash cut off on me while my truck had soap all over it. The cashier was a rude as can be and very little help at all. I would not go here if you can help it.

New management is needed please says that it opens at 4:00 to wash clothes and to get gas no one is ever on time
