I love this gem in Newcastle NH. The food is delicious (the blueberry muffins, especially) and the staff-especially Daniel and Heather (who goes by Heathah) are exceptionally kind, personable and helpful.

Cute little Cafe to hit if you're in town - if you can get there right as they open with fresh biscuits, it is to die for. Their egg sandwiches are spectacular. I also got a chive and sour cream scone and it melted in my mouth. New favorite breakfast spot on the coast, definitely a must see.

Now on their third 🥉 week, a pleasant atmosphere cafe with a great window view, outdoor seating and relaxing music 🎶 playing over the 🔊 speakers.
I ordered the egg 🥚 sandwich on a biscuit with tomato. Tasted good, though it fell apart. I then had a coffee ☕ with a big blueberry muffin 🧁 and a read of the Sunday 📰 newspaper. A good breakfast! I was invited back 🔙, thx!
The pancake was WOW! It smelled soo good! A fellow customer commented positively on it! Served in a hot skillet with fruit 🍓 and whipped cream, it was a pleasure to eat! No "Hom nom nom!" The chef told me he added a little nutmeg and lemon 🍋 zest for flavor.
Bathroom was in good shape. People commented positively on the interior. AC inside.
Food is pricey, but, it's a small business in New Castle dealing with inflation. They have a good size drink selection and I hope they can add orange 🍊 or cranberry juice 🥤. Large candy selection. Sandwiches for sale as well.
Korean BBQ Mushroom sandwich 🥪 was good!
I recommend a visit, though go early. You are a stone's throw from New Castle attractions.
Get the email 📨 alerts. Brioche French Toast, a special not on the regular menu. Yum!

The Islander is simply our favorite go-to for breakfast and lunch. The staff is exceptional - kind and helpful and talented - the food and drink are top-notch and the atmosphere is bright and inviting. Can't say enough good things about this place and we hope it has a LONG and happy future.

Excellent customer service and even better coffee and food. The homemade biscuit that the breakfast sandwich comes on is AMAZING. Also, the puffed pancake is super unique and delicious as well. HIGHLY recommend this cafe! Definitely going to be coming here a lot!

So cute! I had an expertly made mocha and was enviously eyeing the strawberry ricotta French toast and very hearty chicken salad sandwich at the table next to me. Very charming with a few tables inside and out.

This is the most beautiful, most delicious cafe with the kindest barista I have ever experienced. We were recommended this place as we went on a bike tour through Portsmouth and are so thankful we followed the advice. The only downside is, I live too far away to come here everyday, otherwise, I definitely would. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went here for breakfast while we were in town for a wedding. Clearly very popular with the locals, and deservedly so. Service was friendly and fast and the food was great too. The menu is short, but that's usually a sign that what is offered is good! We had cappuccinos, the breakfast sandwich, the breakfast wrap, and some pastries. Everything was great, and I would like to come back and try some of the other items! If we lived here, this is the type of place we would frequent, try everything, and find our favorites.

Great little place right next to the inn. The food, the people and location make this place a gem! We had the breakfast sandwich and coffee both mornings and stopped in for lunch. The food is delicious!!

Impatient and rude counter person (the one with the very deep voice) and ordinary food. Might be better other times but can't recommend based on our experience. Asked to leave cheese off a sandwich, told no special orders, then turned to sit down and they allowed another person to order a sandwich with no aoli...a special order. Biscuits dry.

This cafe is a little gem. The Baby Dutch pancake was delicious as was the turkey sandwich. Very good coffee!

This is such a cute cafe in a beautiful area. The breakfast sandwich I had was delicious and the latte was great!

Stopped by this place on vacation and it was sooooo good. We got our sandwiches/coffee here and they also have gluten-free sandwich options. Customer service was great. Workers were so kind. If we're back in the area, we would definitely stop again.

We had a delicious breakfast at this quaint cafe. Service was excellent! Everything was fresh and made to order. The breakfast sandwich bisquit was so good and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Dutch pancake. Pleasant and incredibly efficient staff!

Lovely little cafe on the island! Breakfast sandwich on their biscuit was excellent; the cheese was just perfectly crisped. Iced coffee is smooth. All around a welcome addition after so many long months without hot food served on New Castle.

5-star experience, great service, delish food, great location, sunny ambience.

Amazing little place! WiFi too! Perfect little cafe. The skillet pancake was to die for! The hot chocolate is very good as well but very rich and some might find it a bit heavy or concentrated.
