Wells, Jenkins & Wells is the best place to purchase meats in Rutherford County. Their prices are exceptional considering today's economy. They have recently started carrying frozen pizzas. If you have never been to the store, you definitely need to make a trip to peruse all the items they have to offer.

Great meat at fair price. Bonus is they make you feel welcome every time you stop by. Friendly smiles always.

I’m so happy that I found this butcher shop. They have ALL KINDS of meat and seafood too! Very good variety of cuts of meat (beef and pork) plus freezer loads of other cuts and game. And the price is very reasonable.
Guess this is going to be my weekly pilgrimage from now on!

Excellent as always. The way meats used to taste. I live in next county north, can't always get here. I usually buy 2-3 weeks worth of meats we eat, and freeze some.
Bacon is awesome. Burger is great, and they have frozen buffalo that is wonderful.

This is the best place to buy your meats all of the meats r always fresh and good. AND they have other things to and everything is always good to. Plus everyone that works there has always been very nice and friendly every time I have been there and I have been going there for a lot of years now. Again this is the best place to buy all your meats. =)

Best and FRESHEST meat in town, as meat is butchered on site from their own stock, which also means no unnecessary antibiotics since their stock isn't exposed to other herds as those in commercial stock yards are. As close to "organic" meat you can get without the official certification, and the higher price that comes with that certification. They have three options: fresh butcher counter where meat can be cut to order; packaged and refrigerated cuts like briskets or slabs of ribs, etc; and bulk options of frozen packs of hamburger patties, etc. They also offer a wide selection of related items like BBQ sauces and other condiments, bread, eggs, commercial seasoning "shake & bake" style packages, fresh onions and potatoes, soda, etc. Basically, they can be a one stop shop for a planned BBQ, or similar event. I won't buy my meat from anywhere else. The friendly, family-like atmosphere that makes you feel like everyone knows everyone, which in a lot cases they do, is just that added bonus. I've never walked in the door when I wasn't instantly greated with a welcoming "Hi there...how ya doin'" or left without a parting "goodbye...come back soon" with friendly banter from everyone while there making you feel not only welcome, but like you're home.

My family and I have had the best experience buying our meat here. We are able to choose a variety of meats and cuts for our weekly meals. Definitely meal prep friendly. If you are a fan of pork belly, they have a tasty salt free option that we have taken a liking to. They also have great deals on bundles for events such as grilling, fish fry, or just a nice simple hot dog cookout.

Prices are a little expensive but well worth it for the quality of fresh meat you get. I will continue to shop here. The people are always friendly and always willing to help carry my groceries out also.

Their sausage, their steaks. Wow. School pizza in the freezer, what a delicious throwback! Consistently great product, service and prices. All pros, no cons. Ask for some fresh made hamburger patties with a little bit of bacon mixed in. This place is my happy place!
