Yes, yes, yes! Just walking in this store feels like I’m doing self-care. Lotions, candles, cookbooks, and all the essentials are in this store. All high-quality products.

This store is wonderful! They have so many brands that you can’t buy anywhere else locally. They have a fun selection of cosmetics, products, children gifts, etc. Also, a lot of health & beauty items that can be hard for find. Check it out!

It smells so good in the shop. Staff was crazy helpful. My son and daughter-in-law loved the gifts that I gave them.

My sisters and I swear by this store for so many different skin care needs. Pictured is one of my new favorite on-the-go lotions. It helps with severely dry, cracked hands.

They also have some of the best candles ever (Capri Blue is amaze).

My favorite lifestyle store. The second you walk in you are greeted by the subtle but refreshing smell of their products and esthetically pleasing environment, and moments later by a friendly and welcoming member of their team. They are experts of their brand, and make fabulous recommendations on anything from skincare, to body care, to perfumes and aromas, to candles and home goods. Plus, the entire store and experience feels luxurious yet minimalist and very accessible.

Eden's one of Des Moines' most unique, wonderful shops. Find everything from Kiehl's to Kai, perfumes , skincare, home scents, kids' gifts and books. If you're really into aromatherapy, Eden carries small and more well-known brands of all sorts of aromatherapy products. Find a never-fail gift in a shop you can't miss!

This shop is incredibly beautiful and highly organized but not pretentious at all. I have been in many times with my small children and the staff are always kind. I have always felt welcome and the staff have been so helpful whenever I have questions. I highly recommend following their Instagram stories as they often post in depth reviews and descriptions of products that are super helpful if you don’t know a lot about skincare or just want to learn more. I’ve loved every product I’ve bought from candles to cards to skincare -especially their supergoop mineral sunscreen.

Eden is such a special place. It offers a perfectly edited collection of beauty favs with great ambience. This apothecary could hold its own in Chicago, NYC or LA and I'm grateful to have this little gem in the East Village of DSM. Hannah, the small business owner, continues the two-decade tradition of Eden serving Des Moines with heart. Thank you for loving this community!

Can I give Eden 10 stars?! I had been struggling with VERY dry skin for about a year, ever since my derm prescribed an Rx retinol. Joshua knew the exact questions to ask ("Are your eye creases red and painful?" "Do you notice flakiness around your mouth?") It was like he was reading my mind and knew exactly the hydrating spray to recommend. Not only that, he thoroughly explained how to integrate the product into my current routine—no need to invest in a whole new package of products. My skin has been breathing a sigh of relief ever since, and for the past couple weeks, all of those symptoms have cleared up!

I know this sounds silly, but the best part was that I felt so heard, seen, cared for and not judged. Due to past experiences with estheticians and dermatologists that weren't very tactful, I'm pretty insecure about my skin. Thanks to the staff, their compassionate natures, their strong training and their wisdom, I felt so welcome and supported. (Oh yes, I also stocked up on some fragrances and will be back soon for refills and future purposes!) Eden is my new go-to skincare/beauty/feel good spot.

Such a wonderful shop with excellent service and great products! I went in there to grab a last minute gift for my mom for her birthday and the guy working was able to find her account since she's a frequent shopper there and recommend product lines and scents she enjoyed. It was super helpful and I was able to get her some gifts she really liked, as well as have them gift wrapped.

My favorite spot to buy toiletries in Des Moines! I’d go out of my way to go to Eden over big chains any day. Plus, the employees are so sweet and helpful! They are very knowledgeable about the product and you can tell they care about the handpicked items. Can’t say enough good things about Eden!

Even if I don’t know what I need for my skin, the staff at Eden does. My normal routine was do nothing to my face (literally no washing or anything) and hope for the best. They set me up on a new plan to care for my skin using healthy, natural products that feel good and are lighter on the planet.
