BEST coffee shop I’ve ever been to! Anyone who has ACTUALLY been there knows that everyone that works there has the best customer service and loves what they do! They have the best sanitation standards and everything is made FRESH DAILY ! Negative reviews left by people who haven’t even been to the coffee shop are unacceptable! Everyone that has actually been to this shop has had a great experience and has returned numerous times!

awesome spot for community and commuters alike, we just passed through on a road trip from charleston to see dear grandma alice. I got the blueberry “yum yum” cup with graham crumble on top, and didnt want to leave, everyone was so nice and the atmosphere was fun thank you see you again soon

I absolutely love Hug A Mug Coffee shop!! They went above and beyond for my family! The drinks were absolutely amazing! We also purchased some of their adorable necklaces and cups! They also have a huge selection of sugar free drinks! Which is very hard to find around here! The owners and workers are very friendly and greet us like we're family! It's a very cozy little coffee shop and I would highly recommend them to anyone! Its a must try I promise you want regret it!

Hug A Mug has a forever customer with me from here on out. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are super helpful and friendly. I got the twix mix along with a slice of red velvet cake. They were both amazing compared to other places I've been too. I will definitely be going back again soon.

Hug a Mug is THE BEST local coffee shop hands down! It does NOT take you 30 minutes to get ANY ORDER no matter what it is, you could order 10 coffees and would still be there less than 10 minutes! EVERY coffee or item I have ever got there has been AMAZING! I stop there every morning before work and some days after as well. The employees as well as Karen THE OWNER OF THE SHOP have been 100% polite and helpful every single time I have went in. If by chance you are not happy with your order (which is highly unlikely) they ALWAYS go above and beyond to make it right! My coworkers even request me to pick up coffee from here rather than for them to go to their usual chain spot! Given my experience if anyone on here is commenting rude or inconsiderate things on here it's because they either didn't bring it to KAREN'S attention or THEY'VE NEVER BEEN HERE as it is located in NORTH CAROLINA and NOT California! Bottom line is Hug a Mug is THE BEST LOCAL COFFEE SHOP and you can guarantee a GREAT experience if you visit this shop! Always a return customer here!!!

A friendly family owned business that will leave you with a smile on your face! The owner of the shop is very dear and pleasant. The iced mocha coffee is one of my favs. The decor is beautiful and tbe atmosphere is homey. Definitely recommend visiting this shop!
