Grizzly Ridge

We rented the Sunrise cabin in March. We were there three nights for my son’s wedding in Cooper Landing. The sunrise cabin is beautiful and has a lovely view of the river. It is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped which is often unusual for short term rentals. The beds are very comfortable. Jesse, the manager, was great, helpful and so easy to work with. I would highly recommend Grizzly Ridge.

Stopped into the convenience store and the bathroom was SPOTLESS! The store was clean, well-stocked, and the $1 hot dogs were fun.

Our first stay at Grizzly Ridge was wonderful. Clean, comfortable cabin with a great view of the river. We will definitely be back.

Last night I had the pleasure of staying at the Trapper cabin, a quaint and cozy cabin in the heart of Cooper Landing. It was my second stay. I normally have a hard time sleeping in an unfamiliar place, but I always fall immediately asleep in the Trapper cabin. The cabin has a full kitchen including a full-size stove and a refrigerator. During this trip, I was delivering 10 pounds of meat from Homer to Anchorage, which fit nicely in the freezer. I did not have to worry about my meat thawing along the way. The Trapper cabin is kept immaculately clean. The innkeeper is very helpful and attentive to my travel needs. I am looking forward to staying at the Trapper cabin in the future!

Great place! Excellent customer service! Delicious ice cream. Kaison is fantastic and has helped us a number of times. He remembers you and takes care of you! Glad this place made it to Cooper landing! Caramel cone for the win… eat it by the tub

Beautiful location! We stayed in Grizzly Cabin #3 on the river and would highly recommend it. We could watch rafts go by and they have a great outdoor space with grills and chairs for each cabin as well as a fire pit and picnic tables. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking and eating utensils you need and the cabin was clean and cozy. Looks like they have recently done a lot of updates. All the staff were friendly. Cooper Landing has way more to do than we thought and was very fun even on a dreary weekend.

This place is super clean and the people are amazing. If you want a great Alaskan experience this is the place to come. They are building several new cabins and a huge dining hall for guests that will be completed by next May.

Good pit stop, this time I got a t-shirt saying Grizzly Ridge. The 5 hour energy is expensive! $6 something for just the one. Nice building goof convince store w gas. But it doesn't say how much a gallon. Happy motoring!

Grizzly Ridge at coopers landing is a beautiful place to stay on the kenai River. The store is very clean, with clean restrooms. Allison and Dakota were great hosts with an abundant knowledge of the surrounds. They were able to help with everything from directions to dinner recommendations, fishing guides and everything in between. We are already planning our next trip here. GR is a great value, perfectly located for hiking, food, fishing and anything you would want to do. Located about 40 minutes from Soldotna and Seward there is no limit of things to do. We highly recommend. Thank you Grizzly Ridge for a perfect vacation. We will see you next year!

Awesome friendly place and people, I found them by chance I was staying for my first trip to Alaska at the Salmon Run Lodge and found them to be Horrible. We stopped by at Grizzly Lodge general store for coffee and found their freezer services for fish much better pricing. Then also found out their rooms are Much Better and Cleaner than Salmon Run Lodge and competivly priced and had coffee pots, micro and daily room service as well as daily Toilet paper. Every encounter with Grizzly Lodge and as great and friendly, I Highly Recommend The Grizzly Lodge when staying on the Kenai peninsula in Cooper's landing

Grizzly Ridge was exactly what we were looking for. GREAT central location to Seward, Whittier, Soldotna, Homer. Beautiful scenery everywhere. Very close to Russian River and Kenai River confluence for salmon fishing. Cabin was clean and very functional. Will be back for sure!

Cozy cabin. Kenai river and mountains right in front of you. You could set on the deck forever. Fishing on the river just outside your door. Saw eagles and caught trout off the dock. The eagle swooped down and took the fish as it was released. AWESOME. A moment to remember. Friendly owners and staff. A place to stay all summer long.

Dakota and Allison were wonderful hosts!! The cabins were very clean, the store had a very friendly atmosphere, great coffee and offered the best ice cream around.

Great place to stop to grab a hotdog and Chai latte. Kids got ice cream. The employees were super nice.

Best ice cream in Cooper Landing. Definitely worth a stop after a hot afternoon of fishing. Decent gas prices and cute, clean store.
