Genuinely the best breakfast I've ever had. The waffles were 100/10, everything about it was amazing. They use organic, local ingredients. The service is fantastic. The cafe is very cute - there's a map showing where customers have come from and also a "broom parking" outside with different types of cool brooms. There's a lot of seating inside and parking on the streets and next to the cafe.

What a hidden treasure we found! The Primitive Waffle Cavé is phenomenal! We truly enjoyed visiting with the owner and hearing her story. Changing the food scene to focus on wellness and creating a welcoming community one magnificent waffle at a time! We will go back whenever we are back in town!

This is a simply delicious cafe! The food is all 100% gluten-free, and there are vegetarian and vegan options. There are so many delicious dishes to choose from! We tried the Tuscan Sun sandwich and the cinnamon raisin waffle with bacon and eggs. We also enjoyed warm white chocolate and pecan cookies, an almond milk, and a blackberry- raspberry lemonade. The food was heavenly, the service was quick, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our visit, and plan to come again soon!

The best stop between California and Montana! Delicious waffles and coffee. Very kid friendly! Sweet owner! This is the perfect pit stop needed on a road trip!!

My favorite weekend spot to go for a snack with my family! I love the friendliness from the staff the moment you walk in. My son loves the kiddo corner where he can play with all the new toys and they have a little table with chairs. Recently I tried their homemade soda and it was DELICIOUS. Not to mention house made syrups with minimal ingredients. I have tried a few of their smoothies, scones, and, savory waffles as well and everything has been 10/10. Next time I’ll try a sweet waffle to switch it up but I always look forward to weekends at Primitive Waffle!

Waffles were crispy, tasty, and the fruit topping on the basic waffles was delicious. It's a small place, so not a lot of seating, but everyone was friendly. There's an amazing menu of a variety of teas, drinks, coffee and toppings to go on them. Prices are fair, hardly any wait, and a good spot for breakfast or lunch.

This place is awesome! The ladies who work here are incredibly friendly, patient, and kind. And the food is DELICIOUS! I am just passing through, but what a gem this place is. I spent several hours here working and saw them work through the crazy lunch rush and they did it with a smile on their face and asked if everyone was doing okay. Wish I could take this cafe with me on my travels. Nice job ladies!

We stumbled upon this place during the Parowan Street festival, and what a find! I was psyched to find something 100% safe for celiacs in small town Utah. The food was very delicious, and the people working there are so kind. We liked it so much we stopped by the next day, but it was 5 minutes before closing 😮 However, they happily made us food and recognized us from the day before. The people working here are friendly and awesome. Thank you! 10/10 recommend!!

Found this place on a whim and so glad I did!! Cutest little local cafe/coffee shop! I had the ham and Swiss waffle with sauerkraut added and it was divine! Loved the addition of sweet pickles and carrots on the side. Everything is GF and healthy without refined sugars and a great lighter option compared to the heavier cafes around. Will be taking a day trip to visit from St. George soon! As a former barista of local coffee shops, I’m very impressed with the staff and their knowledge and recommendations. 5 stars!

Place was SO nice to pull into. If more places had the kindness and compassion that this woman took the time to create, we would all be better off. Will be stopping back by when we leave Santa Cruz, Ca and go to climb at Indian Creek as part of our new tradition. Love it.

This place is absolutely amazing. Every item we ordered was made to perfection. My taste buds were overwhelmed with flavor. My favorite breakfast GLUTEN-FREE place we have ever had. I will make sure to stop here every time we drive through the area.

This is our favorite breakfast place. It is always fun to walk in and be greeted because you know they are genuinely glad you are there. The food is delicious and there is something for each person in the group (sweet or savory).

The Primitive Waffle Cavé is a family-owned gem in the heart of Parowan. We stopped here for lunch on our way back home to Utah Valley from St. George, and I’m so glad we did! The owners are kind and accommodating, the food is delicious (and completely safe for my husband with Celiac disease), the service is quick, and the decor and atmosphere are lovely. As a bonus, the owners have incorporated Ecuadorean decorations in the dining area and terminology in their menu. They have traveled to Ecuador several times and cherish their travels. It warms my heart to see my country of heritage embraced in this establishment! I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

This place deserves 5 stars. In southern Utah hiking and needed a place to stop for lunch. Searched Yelp and found this place had many 5 star reviews. Owned by a single mom living out her dream to open a small gluten free, healthy restaurant. We were greeted by a very friendly girl who we asked what she recommended. We ordered the Hunter and my husband ordered the Ciao Chow. Both were soo good. Came with a delicious cucumber/watermelon/mint salad - so good! We will be coming back when we are passing through again.

Great little spot. Clean, healthy, and delicious food. The coffee was bomb and the ambiance was so cute.

Food is delicious! I have three young children and even though they're super picky they still at all their food. Customer service was excellent! Front workers were very friendly and we were able to get our food pretty quickly. The atmosphere was so fun and they even have a corner for children to play. Would 100% recommend!!

Primitive waffle is the perfect place to stop by if you are headed to brian head! The food was absolutely amazing, perfect flavor and came quick for how busy they were.
All the food is gluten free so it’s perfect for those with allergies and it is at no extra cost. All the waffles are around $9-11.
My only complaint is that they are not open everyday, but maybe one day!

A gem of a find. Organic and gluten free - but yummy gluten free! The staff was super kind and inside is comfortable with tables and couches. Will definitely be back my next time through town.

This little spot is pure magic! This was my first visit and I have to say I was totally impressed with the flavor and service. High quality ingredients and unique flair! I got the baked potato soup, and a Tenacious G half sandwich. Bonus, delicious pickle chips and carrot sticks came with the lunch special.
