The Foothills Cafe & Curio

Great brunch and very nice staff (and customers). The cafe is multifaceted, being restaurant, bar, coffee and curio shop. Cozy atmosphere and small town vibe.

This cute cafe has it all. We loved the coffee, they seem to have good breakfast items, but we came for brunch (heavier options available). Yum food, the lentil soup was my wife’s and my favorite. But all dishes were excellent. The cheeses on the cheese plate were not your standard cheddar options (although nothing wrong with that), but these cheese were great choices. Cute vibe, the store element is nice as well (good prices) and bonus live music! And a wine list, plus changing beers on draft, like I said they have it all.

Neighborhood gem, so lucky to have discovered this place through having stayed with the owner as an Airbnb guest. Lucky to have been there for Labor Day weekend and special dinner out on patio with live music PLUS the neighborhood’s weekly talent show. This place is definitely central to locals in Sandwich. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay and eat during our trip to White Mountain. Nice variety of breakfast and dinner, as well as cafe options. Staff are friendly, locals are also very inclusive and welcoming. Bonus - there’s an ice cream shop inside! Also nice selection of gifts and even local beer.

Jem of a place! SAY CHEESE!! Our kids took us there for Raclette night. Such a cool and very unique experience. I'm a huge cheese lover and I had never had cheese this way...cooking your own food on your table on a flat top hibachi smothered in delicious melted cheese that melts below the hibachi while you cook your food. Great ambiance and staff and such a nice vibe in the picturesque village of Sandwich.

We stopped in twice on a weekend getaway to NH. The food was delicious and quick (we had pizza, brookies, ice cream, orange juice, lattes, Italian sodas, smoothies and coffee cake!), the atmosphere made us feel right at home (it was apparent it's a good community space), the value was great, and most importantly, the staff was incredibly friendly and kind. I only wish we lived closer so we could stop by again!

We come here often! Great relaxing atmosphere. Outside seating when weather permits is great. Food is great and they typically have some great beers on tap. Kids really enjoy being able to walk down to get ice cream.

A very pleasant place to grab my post hike coffee. I love this area and this Cafe fits in very nicely. They have food as well and it's very cozy.

There is pure energy, magic, hard work, a lot of passion, love in everything they do in this small precious space. The people who work here, chef Farid to name one, Rebecca and Nancy, are professionals with unique qualities who dedicate their knowledge to their customers. thanks awesome

Great spot for coffee, a pastry, lunch or dinner! Really ideal with cool decorations, nice atmosphere and super friendly owners.

A tiny, hidden gem tucked in an off-the-beaten track little village. The tiny kitchen turns out delicious, high-quality food. They have a terrific beer and wine list, too. Not to be missed.

Super happy this cute cafe has opened and continues to run strong in the sweetest town of Center Sandwich. We weren’t able to stay for the musician who was warming up on his guitar, but we so enjoyed the atmosphere, inside and out, and the place was hopping with happy breakfast crown, both local and visiting. We met the owner who was super friendly and accommodating for us with our little pup.

We had little tiny breakfast bites - a wee frittata that was served in an adorable little cast iron frying pan, and the smallest little burrito we’ve ever seen! Fun and quirky. The gifts sprinkled throughout were very charming and so nicely displayed….will try and add pics when we visit next.
Plan to make this a regular spot and hope you will too.

My Goodness, what a wonderful spot. Wings and Sesame noodles were amazing. Followed by the Meatloaf and Turkey Chili. Leave room for the ice cream. Well worth the drive.

The Foothills Cafe & Curio is a great place to be on Sundays! Folk music, from noon until 2 pm, creates a lovely atmosphere. The coffee, hot or iced, is great and the food is a treat to be experienced. The staff members are fun, friendly and continually coming around to see if we need anything. If you need a gift, they have a nice eclectic selection of items. We love spending Sundays at Foothills! But please bring back the old comfortable bar stools!

Coming from Europe, I’m always on the look out for cozy cafes and good coffee. This is it here!

I completely dislike Dunkin’ Donuts which you will find unfortunately a lot here in NH.

But this cafe is worth a travel! Great atmosphere, perfect coffee, and the sweetest gifts to buy for a friend or yourself :-) They also have a co-working space my husband used for the first time today. Perfect treasure.

Much more than a coffee shop! Wowza! Good coffee, lots of nice quality goods and food, as well as an office space, and special meal events. The place was spotlessly clean and well styled, including the restroom. Reasonable prices. I got a half calf Americano and a chocolate chip scone and both are delicious. They kindly allowed me to use my own cup for my drink as well. Glad to support.
