Excellent food. Excellent service. Waitresses are top notch. Even when they are the busiest, they still have a smile on their faces and make sure each customer receives excellent service. Their cook is also one of the best I have ever seen. Her food is always delicious and well presented. These people truly strive for excellence.

The bakery treats are excellent with a large variety. Lunch was every bit as good. I had the BALT salad, I think. My wife had the Reuben. The salad came with a nut style muffin. Wow. They were very enjoyable. The bakery gives you a choice of how many calories you want to bite off by offering full size or half sizes. But you get a full muffin regardless. LOL. We've been here a few times and the only criticism I have and it's pretty minor is the service. A little inattentive. In prior visits, they didn't come by to refill our tea. We seem to have to ask them. This time we had to get up to get a refill. Not the end of the world but just a little bothersome. We gave 5 stars because the food is great, the place is nice and the servers are pleasant.

Every weekday morning (except Mondays, when they're closed) I stop in for a croissant (or two) and a green tea. The staff are always professional and impeccably put together. I also highly recommend them for lunch. Their lunch menu runs the gamut from relatively cheap ($6 for a sandwich) to a little more expensive ($10) for a full meal. However, their food is always worth the price. I suggest trying the Grape and Pecan salad as a side for any of their sandwiches.

10 N. Trade Cafe Bakery is the only good place to eat in the quaint little town of Tryon! Best food! Best service! ALWAYS smiling faces! Great selection of sandwiches- hot or cold cut- soups, quiches, and salads. And... don't forget to check out the wonderful cakes, cookies, pastries and gifts before you leave!

Carrot cake was excellent!! Very moist and cream cheese icing leaves you wanting more! I highly recommend it!

I had a Pastrami on rye with mango slaw as a side. It was excellent. This is the second time I have dined here.

I have received only good fresh food
I only buy their freshly made bread. I have not bought bread in a grocery store in many moons.
