The pastries always call my name. Love the cheese puff danish and sugar cookies. But everything looks amazing! Also they do a great Thanksgiving sandwich. They have a nice selection of prepared take out food. And in winter there months they offer a cup of coffee with any breakfast sandwich! 😃❤
P. S. They have an all season area to dine in.

This place is awesome! Parking is somewhat limited (there’s a small lot behind the building), but past that everything else is great. Inside there’s a baked good/coffee bar, a mostly Italian themed market that leans heavy into the boars head brand (love to see it by the way), and a little deli you can order sandwiches from (you speak over the counter to order). The Italian in me was extremely happy to see the market’s options and the sandwich I got was also spot on. Once you get a pastry/coffee/sandwich you can sit outside to enjoy it or take it with you to go. They have both outdoor dining uncovered and covered which is nice. Overall I can’t wait to go back!

Great place to grab sandwiches with friends. The little market was also great. It had a lot of options for everyone including gluten free products from simple mills and go macro bars. It’s a cute little spot that has a parking lot. The outdoor area is walled in and has heaters which was great for a cooler morning.

Food got so much better than my past reviews. We ordered the tuna melt that's smothered in havarti cheese, lettuce and tomato. Delicious! I ordered the turkey Joe that's the same as a Reuben with turkey made as a panini! Excellent! We brought home Korean flank steak, chocolate coffee crumb cake, crab cakes, wild salmon, eggplant stacks, chicken Cesar salad, and a salmon Cesar salad always great to grab some stuff and just heat up. Everything is local and excellent. The Bread and some pastries are from NY. The coffee is the best my daughter loved her girl scout cookie latte and hubby loves the Jamaican coffee.

Wow, I was blown away by their thin mint iced latte, and I loved their fig cookies which I brought to a party. Also, their fresh homemade Poptarts are incredible! I can't wait to come back here and try more of their coffee options. Such a gem of a cafe.

"The Local" is a must when in LBI ! So many unique foods and indulgent treats....you won't leave disappointed 🤩

Happy to see so many gluten free and allergy friendly options available.
The Sumatra coffee is BOLD ❤ and the cinnamon buns were fresh and flavorful.
Kids just reported that the donuts were a little stale. That's disappointing. Top dollar foods deserve freshness. Hopefully it's just an anomaly.
A live band for a self seat breakfast was a nice surprise.
Looking forward to going again.

Love this place! First time visiting this charming rustic coffee spot and market. Lattes were so good, great flavor and our bakery treat was delicious. Service was friendly. We will definitely be back!

It gets SUPER crowded in the mornings so be prepared for a line. But trust me its worth the wait. We come here more often than I want to admit. The pastries are great and the drinks are delicious I love how the seaonal drinks have toppings!! I love the fruity penble rice crispy. I wish there were more fresh gf treats. Id buy them all!
It has a really cool, modern vibe. Great place to sit and eat outside. With outside seating and occasional live music.
The logistics of the line are a little confusing. I think they should swap the entry and exit doors for better flow.

We grabbed coffee and breakfast here and the vibe was inviting and warm. An unusual Island vibe- maybe more North Carolina- but I enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and coffee was delicious.

Everything is good. Coffee is good, pastries are good, sandwiches are excellent. Outdoor covered patio is a nice place to chill out and eat.

The food, bakery items, and coffee here are SO freakin good! You won’t regret stopping by for a specialty coffee and a sandwich. They offer many artisan-style sandwiches and gluten free/vegan/health conscious options too. Pictured is the fried tomato blt and the sushirito wrap with local seared tuna + seaweed salad 🤤. The outdoor eating area is also very CUTE (💯instagramable) and dog friendly… which I love

The local has the best food in LBI by far. They have so much variety, such as a bakery, coffee, and a deli. The chicken sandwich is one of my favorite menu items.

My GF and TikTok brought me here. LBI and summer eats? It’s a shore thing if you’re looking for an awesome meal. Part Italian deli, part cafe, part pseudo Whole Foods. The food is inexpensive but BOMB! If you’re looking to punctuate your beach day with a yummy exclamation point then this is it. Protein was great and bread vehicle was clean. So don’t take my word for it; go and try it yourself!

Best local take out eatery on the island! Amazing fresh made food. Large selection of homemade pre made food. Delicious hot and cold sandwiches, handcrafted coffee drinks and a knockout homemade pastry bar. So many unique different items to try each time you visit. A local gem! A must go to!!

Always enjoy going to the local when I'm down here. Would like to see the other store opened up again on the other side of the bridge.

Fat local - delicious. Well worth the IBS flare up every time I have. Easily one of the best sandwiches around!

Also grabbed a pop tart, brownie, and crumb cake. They are also very good. I don't eat them in the same sitting.

Bourbon caramel cold brew was good. Definitely would get that again.

Nice selection of baked goods, sandwiches, prepared selections and market area all in a cozy rustic atmosphere. I enjoyed a grilled cheese, bacon and tomatoe grilled sandwich.

We love this place. Baked goods and coffee drinks are good. Breakfast sandwiches are well above average. Gourmet food grocery essentials and good deli and some prepared sandwich/salads available for a quick ready meal. The service has always been friendly. We have gone at least twice a week when we stay here.
