Great thrift store. The folks that work there are very helpful

This organization is such a gem. I wish every community had a place like Community Helping Place. One time a few years ago I couldn't afford a Christmas for my daughter and it was almost Christmas time. I had missed their date for their kid's Christmas charity but I emailed them anyway to see if maybe they had some things left over. They not only provided gifts for my kid but also got presents for me too. And they gave me food to have Christmas dinner. I will never forget that kindness.

Great place to shop and help the community at the same time.. They work with faimlies in need and they have some things that are fair priced and affordable.

Very friendly and nice furniture selection. No clothes. They also have a free section outside! I got this super cute decorative vase for my moms bedroom for only 50 cents!

I will be moving soon after living in Dahlonega my entire. Out of all the wonderful places to see and stores to visit, chp will simply be the hardest goodbye. Between the great deals, friendly volunteers, amazing humanitarian efforts, and quaint location; I love this place with all of my heart! So many fond memories with friends and so many good finds! Please visit chp if you ever get the chance—I promise you will find exactly what has always been missing from your life, be-it a new pair of shoes or a genuine smile.

The staff and volunteers are so helpful. I have been a volunteer, a customer, and a client in need of assistance; and in all three situations I have been treated with kindness and respect. It's an incredible organization that genuinely cares about the people in the community it serves.

Huge selection of items that changes almost every day. Great prices. Friendly staff. A lot of people donate junk, but a lot of quality items can be purchased too. It’s worth a weekly visit.

Love this place! They really stick to their name. They have helped my family on many occasions during hard times.

Staff/Volunteers are always helpful and friendly. We like to donate here because someone from our county or community can benefit from it.

The place has done some remodeling. Theyve moved alot of stuff to the buildifng outside. They also have a foodbank there
