Amburn’s Market

Went into this place yesterday because I seen a chicken pot pie they posted on Facebook. It's a produce market and so much more in downtown Maryville. This place has all local stuff of high quality. It's a touch expensive but I wasn't disappointed at all. It has produce, local beef, local dairy products, local eggs, Benton's bacon & ham, Old Mill breads, baked goods, donuts, fried pies, Amish products, salsa, handmade tortillas, Cruz Farm ice cream, local honey, pickels, popcorn, pork rinds, Oreo balls, old fashioned soda, chicken & beef pot pies, pickled vegetables, cider, Muscadine juice, and so much more. Truly more things than I can remember and name.
I got an Amish chicken pot pie for $10.99 and it was the best frozen one I've ever had. Loaded with chicken and vegetables in a savory gravy. Pretty damn close to homemade. Would and will get it again. I also got a box of apple cider donuts which were also very good. Moist and cinnamon sugar coated. Very enjoyable. Lastly I grabbed some local honey. All this cold we've been having I like a hot toddy in the evening. Very high quality honey.
The vegetable selection here is extensive. As I said the prices are high but the quality is high as well. I'll pay up for this type of stuff. I reccomend having a look and seeing if it's in your budget. My first experience was complete satisfaction. Just look for the big red barn on Church St. in downtown Maryville. Definitely worth a stop.

This market is amazing! I went to the grocery store last night to pick up a few things. The tomatoes were as hard as baseballs, and the oranges were actually molded. Today I went to Amburn’s, which I should have done in the first place. I found everything I wanted, including Cruze Farm milk, and the most amazing blackberry jam. Their tomatoes are real tomatoes! You don’t have to dig through them trying to find one that might be eatable. Their oranges were fresh and delicious, not dried up or moldy. I will be getting all of my produce from Amburn’s Market from now on!

Beautiful produce that's reasonably priced. They have yummy peaches and apples if every variety. Vegetables.. especially the tomatoes made you want to pick one up and eat it. They have breads,jams, honey and a lady who makes candy that she sells. I enjoyed my visit.

Very cool little market full of great finds. Have lots of canned foods you can't find other places. Great grass fed meats and fresh produce.

This is a wonderful place to shop for fresh produce. And they have so much more than just produce, it is truly a market. From jams to fresh milk to fresh butter and a selection of meats. The staff are always very pleasant well groomed and professional. Everything you get there is top quality. This place is a wonderful asset to Maryville.

Absolutely wonderful market with rotating fresh items and an array of local meats. Staff is friendly and helpful. Items are local, unique, and tasteful! Easy parking and convenient location.

Fantastic option for some really good produce and preserves. I bought some really good apple jam this past time I went.

Amburn's Market was a fixture in downtown Maryville for decades such that when they closed it several years ago after the passing of Mrs. Amburn a void was left which was felt by the entire community. Imagine the delight when a couple months ago the Amburn family reacquired the original building and reopened their family market: the community has been estatic! Thank you Jason! We wish you and your family great success!

Only in TN 3 years .First time in Amburn's , I needed butter , amazing fresh vegetables , bread , meats & beautiful plants I was truly impressed i live in Townsend I'll be back again soon . Thank you!

This is a great place for vegetables of all kinds...and they had meats...nice people that work there...you should go and get good food...canned foods...home canned...
