Boondocks Bull Shoals Lake Resort

Had a blast here. Everyone here was really cool. There is a restaurant located on site. There is also a concession stand with a fairly extensive menu, a boat slip you can use, and golf carts you can rent. The road down to the lake is a little steep so the carts can be a great investment if you take the walk often. The owners are in the middle of remodeling and building some new additions. Can't wait to see what it looks like next time we go. Recommended!

We are staying in the 2 story brick house, 12 people and we fit perfectly, even have room for a couple more, plus our dogs! The owners are so friendly, anyways smiling and make you feel welcome! The salt water pool is clean and fun! The store has good prices! The house has all the essentials and whatever you don't have, you can ask for!

My 17th wedding anniversary today my babygirl recommended this place highly agree. Best decision made. Beautiful view great food and staff is excellent. Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏 🙌

This place y’all...If you want a peaceful, quiet, and remote setting, a calm, beautiful, clear, big fishing or sporting lake, and a quaint, clean cabin that takes you back to simpler times then u will love Boondocks! Danette and her entire staff are more than accommodating. They have 2 pools and a small store open for guests. Often, on Saturday nights, a band plays for your entertainment and u can sit from your balcony or one of several patios to listen, dance, and enjoy a beautiful sunset. I knew it would be a great getaway but I didn’t realize that I would fall in love with this place. I am ready to go back and stay for weeks! Also, it is only miles away from Mountain Home, restaurants, and antique malls and stores. It was truly amazing!🥰❤🇺🇸

Awesome place! Family friendly, staff genuinely care about their customers, and make sure your time here is enjoyable. Neat, comfortable and clean cabins, beautiful lake views, well stocked “store” for items you may have forgot or run out of. I can’t say enough about this place! If you’re looking for somewhere to go to relax and enjoy family time. This IS the place!

Great vacation! New owners are doing fabulous job renovating and remodeling at a classic older lake front location! All staff members couldn't have been more helpful - Keith from office went way above and beyond to help our son-in-law replace tires he had blow out on his jet ski trailer. Cabins (we had two) were clean and came with all basic necessities. Nice boat dock was also included for our boat. Thanks to everyone at Boondocks (formerly Bull Shoals Resort)..... Looking forward to returning in 2021!

I reserved a cabin here sight unseen, which made me a bit nervous. However, I was VERY pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The owners & staff was EXTREMELY friendly, the cabin was VERY clean and we loved our stay here and will definetely be returning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Loved the cabin, so peaceful and beautiful. My only complaint was that the bed was a little uncomfortable. But would definitely stay there again though.

Beautiful relaxing place to stay. Cabin was very clean and the small details they provided (lots of towels, dish soap & sponge, bar soap, q-tips,etc.) was more than I expected. Wi-fi and cable was nice during our evening thunderstorm. Air conditioning, heater, ceiling fan, water heater were all working perfect. The only thing that would have been nice would have been games, puzzles or cards to play.

What a wonderful weekend! The owners and staff take care of all your needs. The lake is right there ready for a refreshing dip or fishing. Two swimming pools; one for families, the other for adults.

You can't go wrong here.

We have been going here for over 15 years! We always have a great time! Hospitality is superb and prices are fair for an easy walk to the docking area, multiple pools, front office with supply of bait & tackle, ice, souvenirs & kitchen items. I would highly recommend them to anyone! If you are looking for somewhere to stay on Bull Shoals Lake, I would bet BSLR would be your best choice!

This is a beautiful area, with remodeled cabins and excellent amenities. The view of Bull Shoals lake is amazing. The owners and staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating.

Wonderful, cottage 3 bedroom 2 bath, views of the White River and Bull Shoals. 2 pools equipped with chairs, toys and towels. Cottages run from 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom. Complete kitchen with plates, glasses, utensils and pots and pans. Outside grill comes with each cottage. Tv in living room with vcr and dvd player. Fire pit down near the lake. You can rent boats, fishing, pontoon or speedboat. Docks available to drop of boat into water. Many rabbits, chickmunks, and deer to see, never a bother just beautiful to watch. Check in office has a tiny store for the essentials as well as games and books to borrow. They also sell ice cream 😉 I came with my father and sister and stayed in the 3 bedrooms with 2 bath and still had tons of space. There was a pull out bed in the living room. We are staying a full week. I have enjoyed myself thus far and plan on returning next summer. 😎

We have been coming here for over 20 years. Kids love it. We love it. Great rooms. Great pool. Fantastic location.
