Food was good my smoked sausages didn’t have much flavor but the bbq sauce made up for it they had 3 flavors spicy tangy and sweet staff was friendly

One of the best bbqs I've been to in some time. The brisket is a must when passing through. Seriously the most fall apart brisket I've ever had. Moist, not over the top smoke flavor, flavor for days, intense delivery. Will for sure be going back. We had a MASSIVE group that came, over 40, and food was brought in super fast time. They were able to keep up with us and continue taking over the phone orders and others happy. Very happy with the staff work too. 5 stars for everything!! Highly highly recommend to stop on by!

This is truly a gem of the mountains. With an atmosphere that'll keep ya coming back for more. BBQ so good you should take advantage of the pint price on sauce and if you're a pickle lover grab you some homemade pickles. Worth the drive every time.

Greeted when we walked in the door like we were long lost family. The food we delicious.

A pound of pulled pork and 2 sides fed me and the wife 3 times. Made 7 sandwiches from the pound. It only cost $22.00 and was excellent! Unbeatable price, food, and service was great too. Atmosphere inside is full of relics...mostly older but some modern items as well. The thing I like the most is that each item shows it's age and is from the direct area of yellville. It's really interesting to see. Some of these items date back to the early 1900s. In my opinion this is hands down the best restaurant in Marion County. 5 Stars!

We stopped in here on a recommendation from a family friend. This place had fall off the bone BBQ. It has been a long time since we had anything BBQ that was that good, and we just done a BBQ Tour in Branson MO.

We got to meet the owner of the restaurant, we came in a few minutes before close but here staff and hospitality was worth the 2 hour drive to her restaurant.

5 stars to this place will definitely try to go back.

We recently moved from south Texas to NWArkansas. and love our Texas Barbecue. We have been searching for good barbecue for the year we have been here. Today we found the jack pot in the little town of Yellvile. Black Sheep Barbecue & Grill has the absolute best barbecue, mac-in-cheese and banana pudding we have found. Prices were fair and service was outstanding. Definitely a must visit while in the area or worth the drive as we did on our motorcycles from Jasper.

A great travel experience. Ribs, brisket, and sausage were very good, with the more fatty slices of brisket exceptional. Sides were better than typical BBQ joint fare, with beans, potato salad, slaw, and okra all more refined and tasty than most. Chicken fried steak was great and the mashed potatoes were especially good. CFS coating still held up at the end, cold, after being smothered in gravy for a half hour amid leisurely eaters. Almost as good in the last bite as in the first. The iced tea was the best of our long road trip, by far. The two young ladies running the front were cuties. Overall, one of the best meal experiences I've had in my 50+ year history in The Natural State and we look forward to returning. A+.

Rustic. Homey. Not fancy for sure. BBQ was awesome as was the potato salad and baked beans! We will stop every time we're in the area!

Best BBQ we have had in a long time! They were busy, but friendly. Everything was spot on. Excellent food and the bill wasn't insane! This is how a restaurant should be run!!!

Very rustic ambience a lot of things to look at on the walls. Food is very good and competitively priced. We got jumbo pork sandwiches. You get one side plus a small side of coleslaw if you prefer it with your sandwich for 9 bucks. They keep the place...including bathrooms...clean. very friendly folks.

Hands down the best BBQ I've ever had in my life! This is my new favorite spot, and will be coming back as much as I can. The decor is epic and the staff is very friendly. As we left we were given desserts for free and they were delicious as well. Anyone who likes BBQ should make it a point to stop in and try it out. Only downside is they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays so plan accordingly. Even now as I write this my mouth is watering thinking about how good it is!

Edit: Since I reviewed this establishment, they have changed hands. So far the only changes I see are positive!

They are now open 7 days a week and they moved the veggie bar (for burgers and the like, it includes tomatoes, lettuce, two types of pickle slices and jalapenos) and have it enclosed.

Aside from that they implemented a rewards program, 10 visits and get 11th free (up to $12.99).

Stop off when you can!

I absolutely adore this place and all the staff there. The food is so damn good, it’s like a kiss from Jason Momoa every time I eat it.
The prices are affordable and the portions are generous. Atmosphere is great. There is this sweetheart with curly red hair that always suggests the BEST specials etc.
I come all the time and always suggest it to people.
Try the Texas Twinkies!
Oh and the “Half The Cow” burger…. It’s like Jesus himself was on the grill. :)

when it comes to BBQ I'm all in on Blacksheep especially when it comes to that Brisket sandwich man that's good stuff and piled high with super tender mouth watering bbq'd goodness. Service is always good and really fast and the place is spotless.

The people there are extremely nice, the place was really clean, we got our food fast, you get to get your own drinks. They place is decorated up really nice, they play older country music, which is nice. Just over all a very recommend place to have BBQ. I had the brisket nochoes, and the brisket is the tender I have ever found. They have banana pudding, and chocolate brownies for dessert only $.99, and let me tell u they are both worth it. This place is worth every penny!!!! I would give a 10 put of 10!!

Best place in Arkansas for BBQ, chicken, sausage, and ribs! Definitely get the sampler to try all their meats with some good home cooking sides. BEST potatoes salad I have ever had and I'm a deep South Carolina gal. Also the mac and cheese is delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and they make you feel right at home. Get you some of that amazing banana pudding before you go too!

Large menu with many interesting takes on bbq, but ended up with a simple jumbo brisket sandwich that was great, also the Texas Toothpicks were a good appetizer. I enjoyed the patio seating and it was the perfect meal after a trip down the Buffalo.

Good place to go eat with your family and friends. Friendly staff, good service, and good prices and food.
