White River Trout Lodge

We are a family of 13, Grannie and Grandpa, 3 sets of parents and 5 grandchildren ages 3 to 6. We rented the whole Lodge for the Solar Eclipse weekend and it was the perfect place for us. The accommodations are spacious and very clean. The kitchens had all the necessary equipment. The outside decks are magnificent! The peaceful views across the White River to the cedar bluff are gorgeous. The Smith family is very nice, and very helpful. They didn’t even get mad when we overloaded an electrical circuit and tripped a breaker. I would strongly recommmend White River Trout Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful and restful place to get away from it all. And the fishing is great too. Our 5 year old grandson went fishing for the first time and caught three nice size trout in about 30 minutes! On a Snoopy rod!

Majestic White River views with down home service. The owners are amazing and the Red Shed is a cozy, completely furnished place to stay. Nice deck going down to the river with access to a grill, picnic tables, and fire pit.

We stayed in “the Cabin” and could not be more pleased. Everything you could possibly need is provided and you can just relax and enjoy the peaceful location. Miss Jo Anna asked if we would like a fishing guide and she connected us with Phillip Rice who was simply amazing.

Simply, great lodging and equally great fishing. Definitely will be back!

A vacation with a home feel! This is the place. Go fishing with their amazing guide then come back to the lodge cook on the grill and take in the view. And let me tell you that AC works haha and in this heat. The view is nonstop breathtaking and no traffic sounds or anything.

We enjoyed out stay at the White River Trout Lodge our host were wonderful can't wait to come back. They had plenty of room for our group and the deck was huge.

Rented out the full lodge with 12 fisherman for a week with 3 boats. The facilities were perfect for our group. We had a blast and caught lots of fish. We'll definitely be coming back.

Bill and Jo Anna are great people, easy to work with and have a beautiful property. The main cabin is perfect for our yearly trip to the White River with 10-15 good friends. This is a great location to disconnect and recharge, and I am looking forward to coming back next year!

I've stayed here maybe a dozen times over the years. Just really great people, great location, fair prices. The middle section of the cabin is best for smaller groups of 2-4, but the basement or top sections are excellent options as well. Basic amenities, bed, bathroom, etc., but what really makes you love the place are the small touches, like the stock of firewood or charcoal or the high-end grills on the enormous deck. The wi-fi is fast and has become reliable over the years. I just watched a 30 minute HD YouTube video (I'm in the lodge now). No problems. This is a remote area, and the utilities are as good as they get in places this far out. Great fishing, great boat ramp, just above the Narrows.

I've recommended this place and taken clients here for more than a decade, and I will continue to come back as long as Jo Anna is running it. Very flexible, friendly hosts.

Very clean and comfortable accommodations right on the river. All the things you could want for a place to stay on your trip to the white river system - tons of deck space, barbecue grills, a boat launch, firepits, you name it. This was my 2nd stay with them, and it was outstanding this time just like the first time.

Very nice inside and out. Spent a lot of time on the deck that had comfortable chairs and a grill overlooking the White River. We even fished from the lower deck. The lodge was well maintained and very clean. We plan on visiting again soon!

We had an awesome time. Our hosts were spectacular and very accommodating for everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for a getaway or fishing trip.

Every single time we stay here, it just keeps getting better and better! Ms. Joanna and Mr. Billy are amazing! They always have a friendly word, a helping hand, and great reccomendations. The decks are incredible and having the boat ramp right there is super conveinent. We feel right at home as soon as we pull up and get to unwind. Hopefully, we will be able to head up once more before year end. It's worth it Every time!

The lodge provided all the necessary items we needed for our family reunion! We loved the location, the layout of the lodge and the beautiful views from the various decks. Highly recommended!

There for Stephan family reunion over Memorial day. It is wonderful. It's such a fun place to stay.

Love this place! We stay here every year for 4 or 5 days and fish.
Has wifi internet, satellite TV, comfortable rooms full kitchens, barbecue grill, charcoal, wood for fireplace and fire pit, etc...
Just a great place to stay!

We came with a group of people and went fishing with a guide two times. Had a blast caught several rainbow and my first brown. Really enjoyed the lodge great view and had everything we needed.

Great accommodations and river access. 20-25hp boats get you up and down the river. This is an annual stay for us. Always enjoy it!

Had a great time. We were supposed to have the Cabin but we're upgraded to the bottom of the Lodge. Great place. Only complaint from kids, WIFI not good. We will go back.

This is a great fly shop with a very friendly and helpful staff. The fly shop is very well stocked to meet all fly fishers' needs. This was and will continue to be my first stop when fishing the White River.
