All around a great experience! I met Donald and Tim and enjoyed our fishing conversations. Beautiful place, the grounds are well kept, rooms very clean. Easy accessibility from the main road and close to Gassville, Mtn. Home, etc. with restaurants, grocery stores, etc. close by. I arranged for fishing guides through their website and was happy with the guides; Steve and Kurt. I would definitely recommend Cranor's.

I hosted a group of 10 here in 2023 and a group of 14 this year. We booked the entire lodge plus the Ashley cabin. I will be back with another group soon. It is first class. There are 2 offsite chefs they Cranor’s recommends for catering the lodge both are great. We caught plenty of fish both trips.

I think this is our fourth year staying at staying at Carnot’s White River Lodge. We have stayed in cabin 6 in the past but stayed in the Finley Cabin is time and it was a great experience. Finley was worth the extra cost. We enjoy walking down to the river and fishing or at the end of the day sitting on the patio watching other fist from the dock and boats on the river. Lou

Great place to get a guided fishing trip. Our guide, Steven, was a 41-year veteran at fishing, and we caught our limit of rainbow trout and brown trout. They also provided lunch. I wouldn't hesitate going back. We drove 4 hours from Tulsa. I came from Seattle.

We had our annual family Christmas gathering this year (2023) at Cranor's White River Lodge. It was absolutely perfect for the entire family--all 31 of us. The Lodge Greatroom was perfect! Its full kitchen and large dining and seating areas made for a great gathering place for making good food and lots of family memories. And Tim Chaney, the manager, was great to work with. He made all the planning very, very easy.

Ive been coming to Cranors Lodge and Cranors Guide Service, the accommodations are comfortable and convenient. We love cooling and grilling out own meals and Cranors has everything we need. Cranor’s has the best guides on the White River without question.
We will be back for years to come!

We made a quick overnight trip to Cranor"s White River Lodge to spend the night and fish, it was a great time. Hospitality was exceptional. The cabin was very nice and spotlessly clean. We fished with Dave Crisenbery who did a great job guiding us, and made a cool, rainy day super fun. We boated 20 plus Browns, a couple of Rainbows, and missed on quite a few more. Thanks Donald Cranor, Dave Chrisenberry and the entire staff for a great time. We will definitely be back!!!

This was a wonderful lodge and Dan and his staff and guides were top notch. I’ve used a lot of guide services and he’s up top. I will definitely be a returning customer.

My oldest son and I come here every year or so and always leave wanting to book another trip. Best of the River guides by far! Great for families or just you and your friends. Donald runs a top notch outfit here for White River trout fishing!

We have visited the White River numerous times but this was the best! The Finley cabin was very nice, roomy and right on the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the fall. We also used Cranor’s Guide Service and had a great time fishing with Paden Flippin.

From the first call to leaving this was a first class expierence. The cabin was in great shape with everything we needed. I had some high expectation due to bringing four generations to fish and wanted it to be perfect. I was very pleased with the service and the location. Will be going back soon.

We used Cranors for their guide service, not the rooms. Although if we had I am sure they would have been as top notch as we received from our guide service.
To say we were satisfied would be a large understatement.
Our First guide Paden Flippen was astounding with his knowledge of the river, surrounding area and his manners and attending to our needs unparalleled in any guide I have ever used.
I asked that he concentrate on my father and do his best to put him on the fish, and by gosh that is exactly what he did.

Our second guide Jordan was a absolute delight with a humourous take of many subjects.

Shore lunch back at the Cranors lodge was great with homemade hush puppies, and the fresh trout we caught that morning, great folks to talk too while you took a welcome break from the action.

Would I recommend Cranors?
Without the slightest hesitation I would.

Our family had a great trip day fishing here. Guides were are knowledgeable and fun, gear and facilities were top notch and was the best trout fishing I've ever had. Can't wait to go back and stay at the lodge for a couple of days and get in more first class fishing!

The lodge is super nice and brand new! It has an outdoor fireplace with plenty of tables and chairs. Rooms and amenities are top notch. Boat ramp is easily accessible right out the back door. Cranor's has the best guides on the river. I would stay here before I'd stay at that other place up the river...starts with a G or something like that.

This place is gorgeous! It's so laid back and ea0sy going. The lodges are super clea0n and stocked with all the necessities like towels, shampoo, soap, etc... The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, and utensils but for some reason the coffee maker wouldn't work but that's a minor inconvenience. I highly recommend coming here if you get the chance.

Visited Cranor's last weekend and it was a great time. First class amenities in a brand new lodge. The huge kitchen, dining and den are great for entertaining business associates or a large family gathering. The outdoor living area is covered and has two big green eggs to cook on. The dock is only a stone's throw from the lodge and you can rent the boats right there or use the launch ramp on site to launch your own boat. This place is impressive for sure. Jordan, the manager, couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating. My family and I are already looking at our calendars trying to find a time to get back there.
