Bull Mountain Resort

We recently needed a place for some family to stay while waiting on some home repairs. The owner Kathy at Bull Mountain Resort was so helpful in working with our uncertain schedule. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable, with everything our family needed. It is so great to find people that really care about their customers these days. Kathy does and was just a life-saver. We definitely recommend Bull Mountain Resort to anyone that wants to come relax and enjoy Bull Shoals Lake and the White River area.

Comfortable and quiet!

Stayed in cabin 9 this time. Absolutely excellent room. Lots of space. Very comfortable bed. Highly recommend this place.

We just got back from our yearly lake getaway with our kids. This was our first time booking a cabin at bull mountain resort and it was a wonderful stay! We stayed in cabin 9 which was the upstairs cabin. Thankfully no one was below us during our 3 night stay because we have 3 wild childs! The cabin was a 2 bedroom and very spacious as well as clean! Being OCD I was able to relax and be comfortable knowing that everything was fresh and clean. We were greeted by the owner Kathy when we arrived. She was friendly and let us know that if we needed anything that they lived next to the office and could be reached anytime. I highly recommend Bull mountain resort. I look forward to our next stay which we are hoping to go again before summer ends.

Bull mountain is family friendly, clean,very quiet, and the owners are very nice and helpful. This is my first time here I really like bull ⛰ resort. They even have a pool. I hope it stays in business for a long time. Kellen age 11

I took my wife and our three children for weekend durning spring break. We stayed in cabin #8. It was absolutely phenomenal! We arrived late Thursday night. They left the lights on and the door unlocked. The cabin it's self was spotless! The description on the website does not do it justice to how much room there is in the cabin! You could comfortable 8. The only down fall are a few creature comforts, the mattress could be updated and the furniture. But outside of that it was amazing. We took a foam topper from home. And it did the trick for the queen mattress. All in all we will be going back again for sure.

We'll.....this place is back in time in an amazing kind of way. There is internet and satellite TV which I don't use, but my 13 year old sure does. We came from Sullivan County New York. (Woodstock 69). We planned this trip months before and every time I called Kathy to ask questions she always answered she is so sweet. We got here early. And we were allowed to just stay and hang out as Kathy was short handed and running the whole operation here as well as cleaning. The cottage I'm in, cottage 6, is rustic and well thought out right to the smallest details. Sweet all around and super clean. I booked for 2022 same 2 weeks in July.

My wife and I are both teachers. We didn't want to sit around the house during Spring Break, but we really didn't have an idea of what we'd like to do during it. We decided on a road trip, opened up our road atlas and chose the Ozarks simply because wed' never visited that area. We didn't want to stay in a hotel because we wanted to semi-rough it. So we decided on getting a cabin or something similar. We Goggled resorts and the one with the best reviews from our surfing was Bull Mountain Resort. It wasn't a lakeside resort and it didn't have log cabins, but cottages, which from their website, looked rustic. So we made reservations and headed up to the Ozarks. We traveled to Little Rock and stayed overnight at a hotel. The next morning we headed for Bull Mountain. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy but we hoped for better weather. We didn't get it. It rained the whole time we were there and we did very little other than watch cable TV and surf the Internet. However, our accommodation more than made up for the inconvenience. Our cottage #6 was two-roomed. It was divided up into the kitchen-dining-living area and the bedroom and bath. The kitchen was fully furnished with new cookware and dishes. It wasn't a hodgepodge of old stuff. The appliances were clean and looked new. I counted three window AC units. However, it was rainy and cool and the gas wall heater kept the place snug. The beds were super comfy. They were nice and firm with fresh linens. There was a double bed, a single bed, and a bed in the sofa. The bedroom had a nice sink and closet in it. The bathroom was very nice. The sink, toilet, and shower were spotless. The view from the bathroom was deep woods. We didn't see one bug or hear one leak. The cottage was decorated conservatively but tastefully. Our stay there was very relaxing. We did our own cooking, dish washing, and used our time together to just relax, talk, and enjoy each others company. We were never bothered by anyone and really appreciated the hospitality of the owners. The lake was a short drive or walk away and on better days we would have explored it. We plan to return when the weather gets better because I know Bull Mountain Resort has a lot to offer and we only scratched the surface. Plus it was very affordable and in a good location for groceries and such. We highly recommend this establishment.

Very peaceful! However we are here on off season. Allowed us to bring our fur babies which is so nice. Beds aren't the most comfortable but place is clean and way better than being in a hotel! If we are ever down this way again we will definitely stay here!

Excellent. Clean. Quiet. Owners are wonderful. We have two cabins next to each other with another family. Feels like we are the only people here. Very private. Still having fun on the boat with the lake level up.

The owner Kathy was very helpful, we stayed in one of the log home (#7)and it's was very cozy,extremely clean and was just like being at home,all we needed,was our clothes n food.
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back,for sure
