A wonderful piece of history in a very scenic area. Well maintained historic stop with decent parking. House is open during regular hours and you may venture freely at your own pace. There are several information boards located throughout the house and on property. A small information center is also located nearby.
Definitely a must see if in the area.

This is a very well restored home from the early 1800s with a lot of informative panels. The man in the visitor's center was very friendly and had a lot of interesting stories about the home, the people that lived there, and the activities that occurred there.

We loved the Jacob Wolf House! It is a wonderful restoration and great historical information. But the best part was the gentleman that was the onsite historian. We were the only ones there and he have us so much time. He gave us all the history, but also answered every question we had. Then he gave us the most excellent recommend for lunch. Thank you!!

Beautiful historical site, with a treasure trove of local significance. I had the nicest visit from one of the caretakers and interpreters. Definitely worth your time to visit.

I visited the Jacob Wolf House during Pioneer Days and found the site beautifully maintained and the team on property incredibly knowledgeable. It was amazing to see a structure that was 80% original from the 1820s. Glad to see the State of Arkansas preserving this slice of our history.

A very interesting and well kept place to visit. A very informative guided tour was given one of the tour guides. And the town of Norfolk is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch!

They're doing work & have created a visitor's center. Will be adding some new information boards. The new site manager was very knowledgeable & gave us a lot of information. Looking forward to watching it grow.

Inside you can find little bits of information of what happened inside the Wolf house and some way of living in the old days. If you go to the visitors center they explained different types of cooking and trapping they did. A gentleman talked to our 5 younger children for 30 minutes and kept up with all their questions they had about old ways of life. Doesn't take long to just do a walk through of the Wolf Cabin, and the view is nice of the River below property.

Nicely preserved historical site. This was a fly by, on a whim, stop and I’m glad we did. The historical significance of this site prefaced the rest of our weekend - Davidsonville State Park, Powhatan State Park and more! Totally worth it.

This is a fantastic place to visit...right on the White River nestled in the small but lovely community of Norfolk. If you want to know about North Central Arkansas history come and visit Jacob Wolf House. Very interesting to learn how Arkansas lived almost two hundred years ago. By the way Texas had Sam Houston...but we had his brother in this town and this house. 😁
